Set of rapids, falls and pools of a tributary of the Tulijá. The indigo blue
water, green vegetation, the constant breeze and the sound of endless
water contribute in one of the most spectacular and unforgettable
Mexico.
Blue Water River drops its limestone bed in steps forming a series of
impressive waterfalls that create natural pools contained by levees
limestone, called "gours" in geological terminology. Its color is due to
the calcareous, perceptible only in dry seasons, in the rainy season

It is located 8 kilometers from the city of Palenque and is surrounded
by jungle and mysticism, is one of the most enigmatic archaeological
sites in the country, being considered by UNESCO as a World
Heritage Site. Place of great interest to own the burial chamber of one
of the most important Mayan leaders: “Pakal, the Great”, and for its
majestic buildings such as the Temple of the Inscriptions and the
Palace. Before arriving at the archaeological site of the same name,
just 1 km from Palenque, is the Palenque Site Museum. Displays a
collection of archaeological objects found composed in different
seasons of exploration. In an area of 16 km over 200 rise architectural
structures and buildings, among which are the Temple of the
Inscriptions, the Grand Palace, the Temple XI, the temples of the
Foliated Cross, the Sun and the Count, and the Ball Game.
