Canadian Provinces in full-time Gospel music ministry.
Their family ministry was recently featured on the TLC
network in a show called “Home Sweet Bus”.
Music & Worship
Bruce & Sherry Ake will lead worship at camp this
year. Bruce has been the Director of Worship Ministries
since 2001 at the Colonial Woods Missionary Church in
Port Huron. Bruce has attended Brown City Camp every
year of his life and has been singing and co-leading worship
in the Youth Tabernacle and the Eastman Tabernacle
for over twenty-five years. Bruce and Sherry will be
celebrating their 37th camp together. Sherry’s piano ability contributes
significantly to creating an atmosphere of Worship and Praise that ushers
men and women into the manifest presence of the Lord. We look forward
to seeing the power of the Holy Spirit using worship to prepare us for the
messages God has placed on the hearts of our evangelists.
Josh Sabo has been leading worship most of his life and
is currently at Colonial Woods Missionary Church. His
calling is to be an agent that brings people to the throne of
God. He believes what the Bible says, that we are to live
by the power of the Holy Spirit and have our minds set on
the 3rd person of the Trinity that is at work in Christians
today. Josh and his wife Tiffany have been married for
over 6 years and have a 3 year old daughter, Scarlette.
Adult Ministries
David Engbrecht is the Senior Pastor of
Nappanee Missionary Church. Under his
leadership, the church has completed
seven building programs in the last 36
years and now averages over 3,300 in
Worship attendance through a multi-site
ministry. Dave has been a popular speaker
at numerous retreats, conferences, camps
in North America, and has ministered in
many countries around the world. He is a
graduate of Vennard College in Iowa and
earned his Masters from Concordia College
in Nebraska. He & his wife, Christy, have
two married children and five grandchildren.
Mick Veach’s commitment to share the
love of God with the lost has taken him to
the ends of the earth, whether smuggling
Bibles, feeding lepers or planting a church
among an unreached Islamic nation. Now
as a mission-minded pastor and speaker,
Mick desires to see God’s truth compel
others to Great Commission action and to
foster healthy local churches that engage
in evangelism and discipleship. Mick has
served as a Global Partners’ Area Director
for Central Asia and the Middle East and
has presented the gospel in more than 60
countries. He most recently served as the
Lead Pastor of Stoney Creek Community Church in Washington, Michigan.
Currently he is beginning a new church in the center of Detroit that has a
focus of reaching a multi ethnic audience with a goal of reproducing more
churches in the city. Mick and his wife, Melanie, have three children.
Personal prayer and anointing for healing are available throughout
camp upon request.
Dr. Marcus Warner is the president of Deeper Walk
International, a ministry that trains people to do
the work of heart-focused discipleship. He has
served as a Bible teacher at Bethel College and as
a pastor. Marcus travels and teaches seminars on
emotional healing, spiritual warfare, and discipleship
foundations. He has earned degrees from Fort
Wayne Bible College and from Trinity Evangelical
Divinity School. The author of several books, he
lives in Noblesville, Indiana with his wife Brenda
(Schlabach) and their two children.
Jack French, former Youth for Christ director,
missionary to Brazil and Michigan District Superintendent, has spent most of his 50 years of ministry
as an itinerant evangelist. His preaching has taken
him to most parts of the globe as well as hundreds
of local churches and camps in North America. He
and his wife, Joni, make their home in Greenwood,
MI. Jack will be preaching both Sunday morning
services during camp.
Tom Blaylock serves nationally for the Missionary
Church as a leadership coach. Working with pastors,
church planters, and church leaders, Tom coaches
in the words, works, and ways of Jesus. Becoming a
disciple who looks and acts more like Jesus, and
making and multiplying disciples are his passions.
Tom has been married 25 years to his high school
sweetheart, Sandi. They have 3 children and live in
South Carolina. Tom has lived in Michigan most of

Children’s

program for this group at 7:00 PM.
Four’s through Kindergarten

Primary Children
Jay McCulloch (1st-3rd) from Colonial Woods Missionary
Church will be ministering to our Primary children’s group. Jay
has been involved in student ministries (K-12) for over 20 years.
Since 1999, he has served with both children’s & youth ministries
at Colonial Woods. Jay loves with all his heart the tremendous
blessings God has given him with his wife, Amber, and their four
children: Logan, Scout, Quaid, and Sawyer.
Junior Children
Pastor Paul and Jessica Dietzel have been ministering
to children and families since 1996. During the past 17 years their
business, Servant Hands, has ministered to camps, churches
and schools across the country. By using inflatable games as
tools to reach families for Christ, they have impacted many cities.
They wanted to bring their ministry to their community, so in
September of 2009 they planted Faith Family. They have two girls, Autumn and
Lillie who attend Corunna public schools. Paul and Jessica are actively involved in
the community with their local schools, civic groups, and other non-profits.
Ben and Amanda Capshaw currently pastor the Central
Wesleyan Church in Elwood, IN. Married for 10 years, they enjoy
life to fullest….hiking, running, biking, laughing and playing
games with their two children: Isaac and Noah. The Capshaws
formerly served in Lansing, MI as children’s pastors. They
believe that when you learn about Christ in new ways, it leads
to a new level of living and loving Him. Jesus called us to be
like little children. Ben and Amanda are excited to serve our at
camp and look forward to exploring how Jesus’ love transforms us all back into
that child-like wonderment and awe of His goodness, grace, love and mercy!

Bachelor of Arts in Youth Ministry. Dan was married to his
beautiful wife, Stephanie in December of 2008. Dan and
Stephanie have two beautiful girls, Nicole and Taylor. Dan loves teaching
students about Jesus and having fun while doing it. If you’re looking to get

Cheddar chips would do it.
Senior High Speaker

past religion and into an authentic relationship with Jesus
Christ. He’s been working with High School students
for nearly 20 years. He is the Student Ministries Pastor
at Nappanee Missionary Church where he oversees all

of the leadership team at Fellowship Missionary Church,
Ft. Wayne, IN. She absolutely boils over with ideas
and energy. Officially at Fellowship she oversees their
creative team. Her title is “Director of Expression and
Experience.” Suze loves working alongside her husband,
Kelly, who is also on Fellowship’s staff. She’s crazy about her three
wonderful children. If she would be allowed, Suze would spend the bulk of
her days perched on her front porch, reading, writing, blogging and visiting
with friends - while sipping on Starbucks.
