This guide is designed to help you begin using VBankWorks, Online and Mobile Banking in a few easy steps. Learn how to manage your accounts and pay your bills online at your convenience, anytime, any place. Online Security Banking safely and securely with VBankWorks Once online, we use 128-bit Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption for your protection. We also have an enhanced feature to make your online banking experience even more secure. Multifactor Authentication provides an added layer of protection against online fraud by requiring a one time passcode when you login from an unrecognized computer or device to verify your identity and further authenticate access to VBankWorks. Getting Started Visit www.valleynationalbank.com. Enter your zip code. VBankWorks Online Banking and Bill Pay 2 Click the Sign In button to access the Login page or to Register for VBankWorks Online Banking. You can change your password at anytime by clicking My Settings. If you forgot your Username or Password, you can reset it by selecting “I can’t access my account” after you’ve had an invalid login attempt. Getting Started (for Florida Residents) Click the Online Banking tab. Select the Register Now button. Enter your information and follow the steps to complete registration. Once you’re approved, click the Sign In button, enter your Username and Password and click Sign In. You can change your password at anytime by clicking My Settings. VBankWorks Online and Mobile Banking 3 Navigation Tools This navigation bar displays at the top of every screen. Deposit and balance alerts can be viewed Review your accounts with ledger and available balances Pay your bills and view Bill Presentment Change/update your user name, password, security contacts and account settings Transfer funds between your Valley accounts Access to eStatements, Stop Payments, Mobile Banking and Alerts VBankWorks information and step by step instructions on how to use tools within the platform Open an account without having to visit a branch Securely exit out of VBankWorks Online support from a Customer Service Representative by email My Accounts My Accounts is your home page and lets you review all of your deposit and loan accounts. Click the account name to view the details of this account Pay bills and loans easily from the homepage A Quick Peek option is an easy way to view your most recent transactions. VBankWorks Online Banking and Bill Pay 4 When you click the name of an account on your Account Summary page, the detailed history of the account will be displayed. Click headings to sort transaction history by column headings To view more transactions, enter a new date range Export your account history to your desktop to import into Quicken® or any spreadsheet application, by clicking Export and choose your file format. Your available balance will reflect pending debit transactions We recently introduced Pending transactions as a way to keep you informed about your account. It is important to note, the difference between your Current Balance and Available Balance are Debit Hold Transactions (DBT HOLD), which may include overdraft or line of credit funds. DBT HOLD transactions expire after 3 business days, and once they expire, they are reflected in your Current Balance once the DBT HOLD transaction posts to your account. VBankWorks Online Banking and Bill Pay 5 My Settings Update and change your information and settings. Update or change your email address, username, password and phone number(s). Customize the names of your accounts and choose what accounts you want to see Set up text and email alerts. See page 14 VBankWorks Online Banking and Bill Pay 6 Bill Pay Once you have registered for Bill Pay and Presentment, you can forget about writing and buying checks. When customers register for bill presentment and pay with us, it does not eliminate your paper statements unless the customer has already opted for that feature with the creditor. Paying bills and receiving statements online is safe, secure, convenient, cost efficient and eco-friendly. • Pay your bills when and to whom you want in the United States • Schedule recurring payments for regularly occurring bills • Pay your bills immediately or schedule them for a future date • Receive online statements from your payees Add Payees To setup your Payees, simply follow the steps below. Select Bill Pay Type the name of the Payee or person you want to add VBankWorks Online Banking and Bill Pay 7 If the Payee is in our database, you only need to type in your account number and click Add Payee If the Payee is not in our database, you will need to complete all of the required information My Bills and People I Pay Schedule your payments for processing and view processed payments with these simple steps. If you have more than one deposit account, select the account you want to pay from To add additional accounts for bill pay, contact our Customer Service Center at 800-522-4100 To make a payment, enter the amount, date and click Pay Set up eBill, payment reminders and automatic payments. See page 9. VBankWorks Online Banking and Bill Pay 8 Payee Options VBankWorks Online Banking and Bill Pay 9 Scheduled payments will appear here and may be viewed, edited or cancelled Note: Recently processed payments can be viewed below the Scheduled Payments section or by clicking on “view payment history” next to My Payments. Edit and Cancel Payments Once you have scheduled a payment, you can edit or cancel it anytime prior to the time it is processed. Click Bill Pay to edit a scheduled payment Click Edit to change the amount, date or funding account Click Cancel to cancel the payment VBankWorks Online Banking and Bill Pay 10 Move Money With VBankWorks you can transfer funds or set up recurring transfers to your other Valley accounts. Transfers may be added, edited or deleted at your discretion. Choose From and select the account you want to transfer from. Choose To and select the account you want to transfer to. The drop-down menus will show you each account’s number, the available balance, nickname and/or loan amount due Type the amount you wish to transfer Click Transfer Funds to process your transfer. You will have the option to confirm or cancel it on the next screen VBankWorks Online Banking and Bill Pay 11 Schedule a Transfer Click Schedule a Transfer You have the option of receiving an email alert/notification of the transfer Users have the option to personalize an email message to themselves VBankWorks Online Banking and Bill Pay 12 Additional Services eStatements Provides you with an eco-friendly and expedited means for accessing your checking and statement savings account statements and eliminating paper statements. eStatements are presented in PDF format and are an exact replica of a formal printed paper statement. When your statement is ready you will receive an email to let you know it is available. To enroll click eStatements from the menu bar and accept the Terms and Conditions After you receive an email notification that your statement is available, log in to VBankWorks and click eStatements. Select the Account Number and Statement Month using the drop down menus and click Submit If you have an eStatement available, the following screen will display Click the Adobe icon to view your eStatement Click this link to view the back of your statement Please note: Before closing an account, we recommend that you save all statements to your computer. If not, all records will be lost. VBankWorks Online Banking and Bill Pay 13 Mobile Banking and Alerts VBankWorks has the ability to send mobile and email alerts/notifications to keep you updated. Simply choose whether you want your updates periodically or based on your account balances. If you have a text plan, you may set up text alerts on your mobile phone. You will also need to know your wireless carrier’s text alert format and address. VBankWorks will automatically notify you daily, based on the criteria that you select. Message and data rates apply. Please contact your mobile service provider for any applicable rates and fees. VBankWorks Online Banking and Bill Pay 14 Stop Payment Conveniently place a Stop Payment on checks that you write or have written by following these simple steps: Click Stop Payment Complete the required fields and click Submit Please Note: The Stop payment feature can only be used for checks physically written and not for payments processed through Bill Pay. Bill Pay allows you to: • Make single payments to payees previously set up in VBankWorks. • View, edit or delete pending payments.
