Leaf shaped small spear blade having a perforated, hollow socket base for attachment.
Nicks. With a simple “C” shaped necklace torque, tapered towards the perforated terminals. Lightly notched markings, else undecorated. Finally a spoon with slender, almost spatulate bowl and curved shaft body with bifurcated, fish tail end. Heavy verdigris
patina.

Both are hammered bronze examples, first an amphoriskos with rounded
bottom, bulbous body, slender neck and wide, flaring rim. Small shard restored on rim, cracks, hole in base. Together with a corseted form drinking
mug with riveted handle. Several body holes and cracks. Stands on low
ring base. Both with green patina and encrusted.

Two molded pottery oil lamps having similar decoration consisting of a
rayed top with scroliate and circular elements. Both with stylized zoomorphic head thumb grips. One having a simple molded decoration on the
underside. Small chip on the edge near the wick spout, otherwise both are
intact.

ears, missing two right legs. A solid bronze feline amulet, perforated through
the neck. A bronze double headed snake bracelet with traces of the original
gilt surface. A bronze latch depicting an abstract serpent type animal. A bird
head amulet. A barrel form bead with four stylized floral elements. An abstract zoomorphic blade handle. A bronze arrow point, a pin with a curled
zoomorphic finial; a pointer with attachment loops on the reverse. Finally a
bronze latch cover with inscription on the front.

Tallest is a dipper type vessel with football shaped body, rounded small
handle, slender neck and slightly pinched pour spout. Next is a pyriform
shaped vessel on tiny flat base with bifurcated handle and rounded rim.
These are both Iron age, redware and intact. The Islamic vessels include a
conical shaped vessel on low ring base with strap handle and trefoil spout.
Cracked, chipped, losses. Final is a small baluster shaped jar on hollow ring
foot with iridescent glaze. Rim chips, else intact.

a Boeotian figure having stylized head and features. Last three on individual
bases.

A very minor dent on the side, otherwise intact. Together with a late Roman, terra sigillata orange slip glazed pottery lamp, signed with a makers
mark on the underside of the base. Scattered areas of heavy encrustation,
intact. Finally, a small pottery saucer type lamp, label marked “from Akko
Palestine”. Overall blackened encrusted surface from use. A few very minor
ancient rim chips, otherwise intact.

A damaged Ptah-Sokar Osiris, mummiform figure wearing tripartite wig
and beard, the symbols of royalty. Figure has losses, holes and has been
mounted in its two separate parts to an ancient style plinth base. The ba
bird at his feet and the atef crown are modern replacements.

Fragmentary carved wood example depicted wearing the royal wig and
beard. Individually carved Apis bull headdress with double Maat feathers
in the center with an applied sun disc. A small bird faces the figure. Body
of the figure is in two pieces with loss in the center, horns and crown are
probably from different figures. Base is probably a later replacement. Heavily weathered surface.

Carved two-piece wooden crown composed of a double feathered crown
and spiral Apis bull horns. Horns painted black-brown and carved feathers
retain a few scattered areas of the original painted feather details. Mounted
on a wooden block base.

Including two different cameo intaglios, one depicting a profile male head
and the other a standing figure. The profile example has some loss to the
outer upper edge rim. Together with two multi color millifiore beads, the
larger multi sided bead is intact. The smaller tubular bead is a fragmentary
example. Three miniature glass juglet beads. The blue glass example is
intact, the remaining two have losses. Finally, a silver finger ring set with a
fine translucent yellow cabochon agate. Rear shank setting broken in two
pieces and detached.

Assorted group of carved bone examples including thirty dice, most are
in exc. cond., one repaired and one partial. Together with a profile bust,
carved on both sides, depicted with a large almond shape eyes. Custom
black lucite base. Two carved crown form gaming pieces, both decorated
with bands of circular elements. Finally, two carved pins with decorated
finials, one missing tip and the other has a glue tip.

Free blown glass examples including four long neck unguent types and one
bulbous bodied example. The emerald green, thick walled example is RomanEgyptian. The remaining three unguent bottles are Roman period and all have
excellent golden iridescent surface patina. All are intact. Finally, a light bluegreen bulbous bottle having a tapered neck. Intact.

a crouching feline with additional geometric elements. A Sassanian redorange carnelian fragmentary stamp seal face carved with the image of a
lion, ca. 5th century. An ancient, solid cast bronze human figure pendant,
suspension on back of head. Both arms reattached. An ancient frit cylinder
seal carved with figures, surface erosion. Finally, a carved bone abstract
bird form pendant, drilled at the top for suspension. Ca. 19th century or
earlier, possibly of South Seas origin.

Earliest is a buffware jar with angular shoulder, narrowed neck and slightly
flared rim. Brown painted decoration. Rim chip, tiny hole on neck and paint
loss. Probably Tepe Giyan II, 1600-1200 B.C. Next a graceful miniature

Large china koi pot standing on four cast bronze lions paw feet with a
leafy border base rim. Fancy cast bronze openwork columns from the upper bronze rim connecting to the lower rim, decorated with profile female
heads, animals and leafy vines. Elaborate and finely detailed celebratory
harbor scene on both sides of the pot. Interior decorated with koi fish.
Makers mark on base: lion, unicorn supporting shield, which is known to
be a spurious mark found on Chinese reproductions. Intact, exc. cond. A

breaklines visible, some losses along the breaklines. Together with an olla
decorated on the shoulder with three crawling babies having large heads,
three lizards, and three rows of applied circular elements. One childs head

Polychrome alpaca fiber tunic bottom with a brocaded design band of serial profile condors with objects pendant from their beaks. The condors are
drawn in harlequin colors with the colors used to delineate the important
icons of the totem, the eye, running legs, and tail being among the most
important. The all red, sleeveless tunics with the varied design bands are
unique to the Huari empire. Sewn to a linen backing and mounted on a
wooden stretcher.

long pointed breasts above pointed navel. Minor age cracks, left hand of

finely detailed plaited hair, delicate facial features, and torso with narrow
shoulders expanding to enlarged abdomen. Blackened surface, surface
deposits. Age cracks and worm wear. Finally a wide bodied Yoruba “ibeji”
with hair in tall peak, bulging eyes, thick scarification along face and torso,

grooved nodes around a face and projecting arch that forms a mouth. Last

beads around waist and wrist. Face is worn from
handling, dark patina. Shortest ibeji is another female with tall crest, and thick scarification. One

Large helmet mask of human head form with bold, enlarged features,
the bulging forehead covered with sections of repousse textured bronze
sheets, hangs above inset ridged eye area, and both adorned with single-strung glass beads. Thick wedge nose at center with hollow nostrils,
bulging cheeks, one with crosshatched texture, strips of hammered bronze
sheets outline curve of cheekbone and cover oval mouth; sides have large
relief ears. The curved back of head covered with cowry shell and vibrant
colored glass bead covered cloth, and the flat top of head covered with
black and white animal hair pelts. Weathered hole at eye area, one string of
beads missing at forehead, few shells missing, surface wear, else intact.

old bone. Each bears two levels of individual scenes telling a story. Larger
shows a caribou hunt at top, a seal hunt at bottom and ultimately what
appears to be a figure in the water. Smaller shows walruses, men in kayaks and a caribou under a trap, at top. Bottom shows igloos, skin drying
racks and a walrus about to be harpooned. Each with multiple perforations

A single strand of loose early green glass trade beads and a few tiny white
shells, originally strung as a necklace on a fine hide strand, having an 1832
US large cent coin pendant, holed at the top for stringing. Coin exhibits a
great deal of wear and stamped across the obverse with a diagonal punch
line. The original hide string is almost completely disintegrated. Beads are
in exc. cond. Needs restringing.

Three of the daggers are enveloped in a single scabbard adorned with various textured reptile skin, and woven hide strips at corners. The blades with
wood handles and steel blade with kufic writing hammered into surface.

acid-etched pattern and steel curvilinear handle. The scabbard of fabric
and steel also bears an acid etched pattern. Mounted together on unwieldy

A salt glazed, stoneware jug with applied strap handle, decorated in relief
on the front with a bearded face of Bellarmine and floral medallion. The origins of the bearded face are believed to have originated in the mythical wild
man creature, popular in Northern Europe folklore from the 14th century.
The popular alternative name “Bellarmine” came from the tradition associated with Robert Bellarmine (1542-1621), a fierce opponent of Protestantism. Normal minor in-manufacture base rim flakes and a superficial hairline
at the base, otherwise intact, exc. cond. A nice example.

These sections were sold as souvenirs in celebration of the successful laying of the first transatlantic cable. Run under the Atlantic Ocean and used
for telegraph communications. The cable reduced communication time

Including a three piece utensil set, all with bone handles, replaced knife
blade is stamped with an English makers mark. A set of spurs with screw
type removable heads, intact, exc. cond. A single iron spur of simple design. An excavated iron and brass gun frame, stamped on the frame: “489”.
A bone handled scalpel, marked on the steel blade: “Miller Bros U.S.A.” A
small, hand forged iron, finger knife, curved blade and loop handle. A rose
gold capped tooth pin, having a finely engraved decoration.

1/2” - 5-1/2”L.
Including an iron trade axe head, stamped with the makers mark depicting
a clipper ship at sea. Intact. Together with a small fancy late 18th century
brass buckle, a later spoon handle fragment, a wick adjuster handle and a
small brass clasp stamped: “Brighton”. Several 18th century glass shards
from various rum and gin bottles, with a card marked; “Mohawk site, N.Y.
1700-1750” A group of 30+ hand forged iron nails and wood fragments,
also identified as being from the “Mohawk site”.

Matching set of red floral decorated china chamber pots. Both are marked
under the glaze, on the base, “J. F. Wileman FRENCH Foley Potteries
Staffordshire”, in a circular mark. The smaller handled pot is intact, exc.
cond. The larger covered chamber pot has a 1” upper rim chip and two
small base rim chips, otherwise intact.

Wooden chest with front opening door panel, hinged on the bottom and
having a key lock. Entire front including legs and upper border are inlaid
with mother of pearl and bone slats within zig zag metal borders; top with
eight opposing, double sided arrows. Undecorated on all other faces. Several inlays missing. Quaint.
