Ho‘olaule‘a ‘Ölelo Ola o ka ‘äina Living Language of the Land M eaning “celebration,” ho‘olaule‘a is a Hawaiian term long associated with Aloha Festivals. This year’s Waikïkï Ho‘olaule‘a block party is right around the corner, and Royal Hawaiian Center, celebrating our own 30th anniversary, is proud to present a stellar line-up at our stage fronting The Royal Grove. Saturday, September 18, 2010 6:30 pm Ka Pä Hula O Ka Lei Lehua (hula kahiko) Kumu Hula Snowbird Bento 7 pm Teresa Bright (Hawaiian contemporary, jazz) 8 pm Mäkaha Sons (Traditional Hawaiian, contemporary) 9 pm Ten Feet (Island contemporary, reggae) Randy Hudnall, KINE 105.1 FM, host Mele ‘Ailana – Celebrate Island Music is this year’s theme.
