Master of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis The Master of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis (MSABA) Develops knowledge, skills, ethical standards, and experiences in the diagnosis, evaluation, and treatment of mental disorders, learning disabilities, and cognitive, behavioral and emotional problems through observation, interviews, and psychological testing. The MSABA program is designed as a cohort program that combines course work with clinical experience to prepare students to sit for the Behavior Analysis Certification Board exam. Admission is limited to Fall semester only, and the program can be completed in four semesters (Fall, Spring, Summer, Fall). ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS DEGREE REQUIREMENTS § § Courses § § Bachelor’s Degree- Minimum 3.0 GPA Undergraduate major in psychology, special education, education, speech pathology, social work, or similar discipline An essay/statement of the applicant’s reason for applying to the Applied Behavior Analysis program, including what factors influenced the decision and how this program will help the individual to reach professional goals. Three (3) letters of recommendation written by professors, supervisors or other persons engaged in the practice of Applied Behavior Analysis or other human services professions TRANSFER CREDITS Only grades of “A” or “B” are transferable § A maximum of nine semester hours may be approved by the Dean of School of Arts and Sciences.
