GETTING STARTED
GoArmyEd students: For additional information, please
contact your GAE counselor at goarmyed.counselor@
ctcd.edu.
Be sure to indicate CTC as your home college and make
sure you have completed and submitted a degree plan.
After you have completed the paperwork and submitted
it, the process takes 4-6 weeks. It will then be posted
on GoArmyEd. The student is responsible for having
all transcripts from previously attended colleges and
universities and the JST (ex-AARTS) transcript submitted
to the following address:

CTC’s Fire Protection program helps prepare students with the knowledge to succeed as a firefighter. Today’s
professional fire science practitioner must be able to analyze and ethically solve complex issues involving
firefighting, dealing with hazardous materials, management, budgeting, administration and health and safety.
General program course work provides a basic knowledge of the organization and functions of firefighting
agencies while specialized courses provide specific knowledge and skills which support promotional efforts within
an organization.
