Hobbico - one of the largest suppliers of hobby products in
the world - not only in the realm of radio control hobbies.
The starting point was in 1986, when Tower Hobbies and Great
Planes Model Distributor consolidated. During the following
years, Hobbico continuously expanded it’s product range to
include over 40 owned and other brands. In 2007 for example,
Hobbico aquired Revell-Monogram, Revell’s previous
sistercompany.
In 2012, the concern then aquired the R/C car brands Axial,
Arrma, and Team Durango, as well as the Revell corporation,
the international market leader in plastic model kits, making
Revell now also a distributor of all Hobbico brands in Europe.

The Fokker Dr.1 triplane, biplane Albatros D.Va, Nieuport 17 and S.E.5a, were all classic WW I
fighter aircraft. Well-known pilots, including Manfred von Richthofen, Ernst Udet, René Fonck,
James McCudden, Eddie Rickenbacker and many others, fought for victory in these aeroplanes.
The Micro Series models, with their fine detailing and replica painting, reflect the aspects this era.
For the Fokker Dr.1 we chose the typical red Richthofen version. The Nieuport 17 and the Albatros

The Super Cub and D.H. 82 Tiger Moth are the worlds most wellknown sports and training aircraft. With over 40.000 examples
built, the Super Cub has become the most-built plane in its class
worldwide. Despite being originally developed in 1949, the
Super Cub’s timeless design affords it an up-to-date appearance.
The Tiger Moth was mostly used by the Royal Air Force, but at the
end of their service around 1950, many D.H.82s went into civil

For many years, the name EXTRA has been a byword in the world of motorised
The Micro F-86 Sabre is a handsome semi-scale replica of Capt. C.C.
aerobatic aircraft. The profile-model EXTRA 330 has been developed and optimised
for indoor aerobatic flight! Precision laser-cut parts and included assembly jig
reduce the EXTRA building time to a minimum. The generously-proportioned
rudder is great for extreme 3-D aerobatics. The pilot sets the limits!

Keen’s Korean war F-86 of 1952. The Sabre was the first aircraft to
overcome the supremacy of the Mig 15, and also became one of the
first jets to enter service with the German Luftwaffe. Thanks to its
great manoeuvrability, the model Sabre can be flown in larger halls
as well as outside. The wing geometry eliminates the need for a gyro,
and the brushless impeller allows powerful flights and climbs of up

DuoPacks
The AirCore DuoPacks provide the simplest and most inexpensive introduction to the
AirCore System, offering the choice between an RTF, or Tx-R system. The RTF Duo Packs
contain the Principle, for the novice, as well as a 4-function controlled warbird for
the more experienced. In addition to the Power Core Module, all other components
necessary for operation are also included, making this system especially suitable for
newcomers to model flying. The Tx-R version is aimed at the more practiced pilot with
flying experience. This DuoPack contains the well-known P-51 Mustang & Me-109
warbirds, plus Power Core Module.

“CORE 4 MORE” – What is AirCore?
Brushless motor
The AirCore aircraft look like typical aircraft, have in their conception however an important
difference: the PowerCore module. This includes a brushless motor, brushless ESC, Tactic SLT
receiver and 3 ultra-micro digital servos.
And what this difference means, is: you can remove the Power Core Module and
install it in another AirCore aircraft. This operation is furthermore extremely simple: the
Power Core Module is self-aligning, and clicks into position with locating magnets – no tools
necessary. To begin with there are already a number of AirCore aircraft available, and the
series is being expanded, so that choice - and possibilities - will be practically limitless.

Love relaxed and unproblematic sailplane soaring? Then
the Fling is for you. This model’s small dimensions make
it transport-friendly, and it will fly tight circles without
much loss of height, which is especially advantageous
with tighter thermal columns. The Fling can be thrown,
or high-launched with the included rubber launch-rope.
Prefabrication of the fibreglass fuselage and covered
wing and tail unit mean that even inexperienced
modellers can quickly build and fly.

The Calypso is characterised by her especially sedate
airborne appearance, and the elegantly curved wings
afford a great dynamic look and inherent stability in
the air. The power glider is controlled via all three
axis, and the powerful brushless motor will allow for
practically vertical climbs to a height where you can
enjoy extended thermal gliding. The sturdy Aerocell
construction will also stand up to aerobatics, making

The RIFLE 1M is an uncompromising fibreglass/carbon fibre pylon
model. Ailerons and elevator are aerodynamically optimised with
gap-free hinges. With appropriate motorisation the Rifle 1M with it’s
1-metre wingspan can reach over 130 mph., and is therefore only
suitable for experienced pilots. Even the 2S setup will enable speeds

lmost no other air-racer from the 1930’s has achieved such
fame as the Gee Bee R1, whose uniquely striking appearance

treacherous, and became known through numerous accidents,

G-44 Widgeon is a 5-seat twinengine amphibious aircraft stemming
from the height of seaplane popularity
during the 1940’s. This model, with
added constructional improvements, perfectly
captures the flair of those times. The model has a sturdy
fibreglass fuselage, and wooden built-up covered
wings. The G-44 Widgeon can be assembled in a
short time, thanks to extensive prefabrication. Taking
off, landing , and manoeuvring on water are made easy
with the water rudder, and with the power of two brushless motors,
the Widgeon will gain altitude quickly. Even simple aerobatics, although
untypical for this type of aircraft, can be easily performed. All these features
make this model an excellent all-rounder, as due to the reinforced hull, the
G-44 Widgeon will also land comfortably on grass and snow.

The U-CAN-DO Models are made for 3-D aerobatic flight. With their
enormous agility, they are able to perform manoeuvres which are
normally only possible with large and expensive models, so it
is no wonder that many pilots fall back on the U-CAN-DO as an
inexpensive trainer with which to practice difficult 3-D manoeuvres.

The
Revolver Series models were conceived and developed
especially for aerobatics. Although the revolver may bear
resemblance to a real-life aircraft, it is a model developed from
scratch, dedicated purely to fulfilling the requirements of the
model flyer. The well-balanced flight behaviour of this mid-winger
will aid the experienced pilot to perform breathtaking aerobatics
across the sky, with the effective control surfaces making even the

This replica of the Cherokee, a single-engine sports and passenger

The Phazer is a well-behaved ARF delta-wing jet with
electric impeller propulsion. Fitted with the included
brushless motor and HyperFlowTM impeller system,
this model will reach speeds of over 140 km/h. The
delta wing helps control the Phazer at low speeds, and
the included launch system makes getting airborne
easy. In flight, the very visible colour scheme helps
with orientation, whilst the powerful impeller propels
the Phazer through all the traditional jet aerobatics.
It’s stable flight attitude will also allow flying in windy
conditions, and many pilots have discovered that the
Phazer is their ideal jet trainer.
The Evader is a fast shapely jet driven by electric impeller. The model kit
contains the brushless motor and HyperFlowTM impeller system. Thanks to
the ARF execution with fibreglass fuselage and pre-covered wings and tail,
the Evader is soon assembled and ready to fly. Compact dimensions allow
ease of transport, and the included bunjee launch system help the jet to
quickly gain the ideal speed for the impeller drive. Once airborne, the Evader
is very stable and can cope with windy conditions. The highly
visible colour trim aids orientation during flight, which
is very helpful at speeds of up to 160 km/h. The Evader
will also perform all of the usual jet aerobatic
manoeuvres.

The original Douglas DC-3 made her maiden
flight in 1935, and was a milestone in
commercial flight. With the DC-3, air travel
became financially viable and thus very popular,
so that by the 1950’s this aircraft was so
multitudinous that it could be encountered
on airfields all over the world. As with the
original, good flight characteristics,
coupled with the ease with which
it will take-off and land, make
this model ideal for those wishing to
enter the world of twin-engine flight. Should one motor
fail, the DC-3 still remains controllable, although, as also with
other twin engine models, the rudder should not be used to control direction with one motor

The Super Stearman, among the most popular 1930’s biplanes, and wellknown from innumerable air shows is a further development of the very
robust, equally famous Boeing Stearman. In addition to the more powerful
engine and NACA-cowl, ailerons were added to the upper wing. With its
attractive paint design, this model has very pleasing looks, and although
relatively small, the Super Stearman flies smoothly and precisely. In the
air, her distinctive profile helps identify her position, allowing you to enjoy
flying the Super Stearman. Classical aerobatics are also no problem with this
model, which responds readily to the controls. The high degree of
prefabrication of the wooden, foil-covered airframe
allows for an extremely short building time.
The Christen Eagle is one of the most famous and popular
aerobatic biplanes. Her robust, but very light, construction has
made the Christen Eagle, alongside the Pitts Special, the most
successful aerobatic biplane in the world. Four generous ailerons

umerous air shows and film appearances have made the Super Stearman
one of the most well-known biplanes world-wide. Developed from the
1930’s Boeing Stearman, she received more engine power, an NACA cowl,
and additional upper ailerons. The resultant agility, coupled with gentle flight
characteristics, makes both original and model alike very popular with the
pilots. The model, with it’s built-up wooden construction and few Fibreglass
components, is ready for action after just a few hours building time.
Robust landing gear and large wheels aid flying from
even a not-so-good grass strip. The Super
Stearman, with her attractive appearance and
impressive size, is even more enjoyable to
fly. A plywood carrying handle attaches to the
interplane struts to facilitate transport.
WACO YMF-5D was originally constructed in the
1930’s as a fast passenger and sports biplane, and became
very popular, also with numerous flying schools. After a
long pause the aircraft was re-engineered, and production
began again in 1986. In addition to a stronger fuselage
cell and modern materials, the current WACO YMF-5D
has been equipped with up-to-date instrumentation and
electronics. However, despite the modernisation, she has
lost none of her original charm. The model WACO YMF-5D
impresses with high quality materials and engineering.
This model is a feast for the eyes, with fine details including
dummy radial engine and cockpit instrumentation. In the
air the Waco is equally impressive, especially when flying
classical aerobatics, and her high responsiveness to the
controls, as expected of a model such as this, increases

During WWII, the AT-6 Texan served as a trainer for US
During WWII almost no other aircraft became as well known
Airforce and US Navy fighter pilots. Built in 1938, this
aircraft was also used by numerous other countries, and
after the war was the first trainer in service with the
newly formed German Luftwaffe. Today, the AT-6 Texan
can still encountered at many air shows and classical
meets. This pleasing scale model of the AT-6 is made of
a sturdy wooden built-up construction, and covered with
Monokote foil. Assembly is simplified by accurately detailed
components, such as cockpit, engine cowling and dummy
engine. The model is suitable for both 2-stroke and 4-stroke
motorisation, and is supplied with a retractable landing
gear. The flaps can be used to gain altitude on take-off, and
reduce speed on landing, and just like the original,

F4U Corsair fighter aircraft was operated mainly by
US forces from aircraft carriers during WWII and the Korean
war. The distinctive cranked-wings ensured sufficient ground
clearance for the oversized airscrew. This aircraft was dominant
during the America vs. Japan Pacific war, and 12.000 FU4
Corsairs were built up to 1952. This ARF model is of built-up
construction with selected wooden materials, and is precovered with high-quality matte MONOKOTE foil. The scale

DSC receptacle in your transmitter, and a combination of a real Tactic TTX600 transmitter with DSC
receptacle, and the interface.

in the model. Programming of the Silver Series Brushless
controller takes place automatically on connection, and a
flick of the throttle stick activates/deactivates the brake

The TOP-FLITE Power Point Magnetic Balancer makes it easy to
balance airscrews, impelllers, marine propellers, wheel rims,
couplings, etc., etc. The balancing shaft is mounted frictionlessly,
using two strong magnets, garanteeing highest balancing precision.
Correct adjustment of a model’s centre of gravity is especially important, and can decide between success or failure when attempting to fly the model. A well-adjusted C.G. will improve a model’s
flight behaviour considerably. The Great Planes C.G. Machine enables effortless and precise balancing of the centre of gravity with
models weighing up to 20 kg. The balance supports are laterally
adjustable to accommodate varying fuselage widths.
