Congratulations Tania! Introducing…. Cheryl Twedt, DON Cheryl Twedt is Fellowship Village’s new Director of Nursing. Cheryl is thrilled to be back in Inwood, which is where her first nursing experience in long term care began. She was the first DON of Fellowship Village and has fond memories of the community who came together to wash windows, clean, mow the grass, etc. to get Fellowship Village off the ground. Because of Fellowship Village, she grew to love working with the Residents and their families. Our Residents who need a little help are the main purpose. Along with the Residents comes the joy of knowing their families. Of course, “our home” would not be a home without the staff. Cheryl has come to realize and appreciate that there is not one person at FV whether it be the nurse, CNA, housekeeper, office help, kitchen, laundry or Administrator that is not important. A “Team Effort” makes FV the home that it is. Cheryl has been a nurse for more years than she cares to remember. She has been married to Greg for 42 years. Daughter Denise is married and lives in Minneapolis with her husband and children, Ian (6) and Alena (3). Lori also lives in Minneapolis with her husband and 6 week old daughter named Emma. Son, Brian is married and lives three miles from Cheryl with his wife and 4 month old son Levi. Welcome Back Cheryl! We’re so glad to have you back!
