Starting from 1996, the share of own products and services in our sales has been systematically increasing, turning our once distribution-only company into both a producer and distributor. 2010 2005 1996 2% 51% 29% 71% 98% production & services 49% distribution Certificates As a result of an audit conducted by the Military Institute for Quality Systems, on 19th January 2005, Radiotechnika was awarded with the certificates that confirm conformance of our Quality Control System with the following norms: PN-EN ISO 9001:2008 and AQAP 2110:2009. In April 2005 Radiotechnika was registered by the Military Centre for Normalization and Coordination as a NATO Commercial and Government Entity (NCAGE Code No. 0897H). Radiotechnika is licensed to manufacture and trade in the products and technologies of military and police origin and destination (Certificate No. B-058/2005). In 2007 Radiotechnika was awarded with Qualified Product List (QPL) certificate issued by Defence Supply Center Columbus (DSCC) at US Department of Defence allowing us to mark connectors from our assembly line as JD38999 and JMS2746x. Fiber optic technology HYBRID CONNECTORS We are able to design and manufacture ruggedized patchcords containing both copper wires and optical fibers terminated with electrical and optical contacts. The number of electrical and optical contacts (either expanded beam or physical contacts) in hybrid connectors may vary, depending on user needs. ELECTRIC AND OPTIC SLIP RINGS NGS ASSEMBLIES Radiotechnika Marketing offers electric slip rings assemblies and fiber optic rotary joint enabling continuous transfer of optic and electric signals among rotating elements. We provide both miniature and big-sized solutions transmitting from 1 to 600 electric control and supply signals and 1 to 19 optic channels (MM/SM/POF). Depending on type, slip rings assembly may transmit supply (1kA/1kV) and high-frequency signals (up to over 250 MHz). Attainable rotation speed reaches as much as 16 000 rpm. Because of ingress protection factor IP68 (waterproof) and wide range of operating temperatures, our slip rings may be used in all kinds of applications. TACTICAL FIBER OPTIC CABLES They are produced based on the Amphenol CTOS connector technology. They are core transmission cables for the field installable, mobile C4I networks. Field deployable, high durability cables provide superior mechanical strength and high resistance to a harsh environment. Hermaphroditic CTOS connectors enable daisy-chain connections without installing any additional adapters at the beginning or end of the jumper. We are able to produce tactical jumpers with other connectors (expanded beam or butt-joint), drums and cables. MEDIA CONVERTERS We design and manufacture special versions of media converters which allow transmission of various types of electrical signal via fiber optic links and at the end of the links reconvert it back into the electrical signal (digital or analogue). S TOOLS CTOS EXPANDED BEAM CONNECTORS We assembly CTOS connectors, approved by the Polish Army as a standard for tactical fiber optic connector, for its perfect mechanical interface and easy service. The lenses used within these connectors, expand the light beam, which makes the entire solution more resistant to the mechanical filth and the stainless steel shell delivers extraordinary robustness and durability. METROLOGY Our test equipment is always calibrated at the certified laboratories. It is to guarantee and secure an appropriate quality of our products. During the production process we use only verified materials, and we do final quality control for 100% of out coming products. We have technologies of other major expanded beam connectors at our disposal, including single mode solutions. PHYSICAL CONTACT CONNECTORS We manufacture optical patchcords using physical contact connectors. They are simpler and more cost effective solutions They require more attention during the maintenance process but they are characterized by lower insertion loss and better return loss in comparison to the expanded beam connectors. INTERFEROMETER Maximum number of contacts for the butt joint connectors can be significantly higher when compared to the expanded beam solutions (up to 37 channels and more). A key tool to verify and setup polishing process of optical ferrules. FIBER OPTIC PATCH CORDS SERVICE AND MAINTENANCE Our customer can be sure of our help and support if they need it. We do deliver all necessary repair and maintenance kits and materials. We conduct necessary trainings for all customers that require to repair tactical cables by themselves. Connectors and cable harness DESIGN ENGINEERING HARNESS SHOP The processes of designing, making and installation of harnesses are usually the last steps in production of avionic, floating or land vehicle mobile platforms. Making use of their know-how and many years of experience, our specialists take part in the process of measurements and design from an early prototype stage. Our team will accompany and support you throughout the whole way from the very birth of the idea to the final product, choosing matching technology and selecting the finest practical solutions. Since 1995 we have designed and produced electric harnesses, based on the technology developed by the industry‘s international leader TE Connectivity (Tyco Raychem) whose authorized representatives we are. Radiotechnika Marketing is the only company in Poland in possession of TE Connectivity’s Codes of Practice (CoPs) thus ensuring the ultimate compliance of our harnesses with technological requirements and customers’ specifications, and the technological requirements. Making use of their broad knowledge gained through long years of market presence our engineers take part in many wiring systems projects for military, rail, cosmonautics, air, maritime and automotive industries. Our participation in customers’ projects lasts from very early stages of works on the new concept through the selection of technologies, components and suppliers, making measurements and tests on created or modernized platforms to the design, creation and installment of the wiring systems. DESIGN Using dedicated Harn-Ware software and other CAD applications help us optimize the electric and mechanical aspects of cable harnesses production thus enabling RM to create value-added products. This software makes the design process up to 90% faster and the libraries attached comprise over 60b000 elements and are constantly enriched with new solutions. The documentation created this way contains assembly drawing, diagram, table of connections, manuals and estimated time of assembly. PROTOTYPE While taking part in the process of harness system design we gain a complete know-how needed to build prototype wiring used to verify the construction. This is the moment to check functionality and harness' leading, and make sure that the solution we applied is the most suitable. After implementing adjustments (if any) the trial production may begin. PRODUCTION DEPARTMENTS MILITARY CONNECTORS D38999, series I and III Miniature connectors with a very high screening efficiency. Scoopproof system eliminates the risk of shorting or breaking the contacts, even in extremely severe conditions. MILITARY CONNECTORS DEPARTMENT Radiotechnika is value-added assembling manufacturer of military connectors licensed by Amphenol and QPL agency. We provide immediate delivery of both single items and whole series with no limit as to quantity. Connectors produced by Radiotechnika are a great example of the use of Polish national products within the military industry. Mil-C-38999 series III connectors have been additionally furnished with self-locking system against vibrations. The quality of our production has been confirmed by QPL (Qualified Product List) Certificate granted by Defense Logistics Agency. The Military Connectors Department is equipped with over 100 specialized tools such as presses, torque wrenches, measurement needles and marking printers. Over 350 different kinds of components are kept in stock for our current ongoing production. Our annual production capacity is 60 000 pieces. MILITARY CONNECTORS VG95234 Cylindrical connectors with fast locking system (reversed bayonet coupling), allowing to arrange many high-current contacts (up to 250A per connector). MASS-PRODUCTION Our Harness Production Department has been fully equipped to produce elements of wiring systems for both small and large production series. We possess the tools and machines enabling us to cut and strip wires, to mark wires and cables as well as manual and machine contacts crimp tool, tools for operating heat shrink sleeves and testers for either regular or DataBus harnesses. TESTING The critical stage of any harness production process is the final testing, when the correctness of its performance is thoroughly checked. The testers made by highly recognizable producers used in our department enable us to apply the four-point method of checking continuity, insulation resistance, dielectric strength and the passive elements. Each and every piece of harness produced by RM undergoes the testing process and its unique serial number must correspond with tests and measurements results which may be attached to your delivery. Power supply and control systems POWER SUPPLY SYSTEMS Our team of experienced specialists may provide complete power supply systems tailored to your needs and specifications. A perfectly matched system architecture will ensure optimal power supply for all receivers installed in the vehicle. Every single element of our power supply system is designed to function in most severe and demanding environment, at both high altitude or extreme temperature. CONTROL SYSTEMS Set of systems designated to switch, oversee and filter electrical signals controlling functional modules and control circuits in special application vehicles. Depending on low-voltage signals provided by control units (board computers), these systems ensure the steering of executive facilities of military vehicle such as gear box (VJB) or turret of the tank or cannon (TIB). CBRN AND AC SYSTEMS We produce two-way NBC systems for vehicles operated in the areas exposed to CBRN contamination. The device shall automatically switch the incoming stream of air and direct it into filter at the very moment any contamination is detected. We are also offering AC systems, including condensers integrated with the engine cooling system, which provide optimal working conditions for crew, electronic devices of the vehicle and the engine. Highly profiled air conditioning systems guarantee ultimate operating conditions for COTS class electronic devices. EMC FILTERS Our knowledge together with the use of specialized measurement equipment let us identify the source of electromagnetic interferences and eliminate them. The most common method used for lowering the level of noises is improving the shielding, designing fitting filter and installing it inside or outside of devices. Our specialists are able to solve every problem regarding electromagnetic interferences and as a result bring the whole system to full compatibility with MIL-STD-461. EMC laboratory EMC LABORATORY Our laboratory carries out commissioned measurements and prepares custom-designed testing programs to fit our customers’ needs. The aim of such programs is to establish whether the tested appliances or systems comply with valid applicable standards and norms. We perform tests for compliance with military and civil standards. EMC CHAMBER Our laboratory is equipped with the top class anechoic chamber Rainford (size 6bxb9bxb5,5bm/20bxb30bx 18 ft) and measurement distance 3 m. It enables us to measure radiated emission and immunity against electromagnetic field. Unique, double shielded construction of chamber secures against influence of outside electromagnetic fields with frequencies over 40 GHz. The chamber is equipped with system to take away exhaust gases. Pneumatically latched doors of chamber (2 x 2,5 m) enable tests of big-sized devices, with mass up to 500 kg. Project co-financed by European Union from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and National Funds under the Regional Operational Program for Lower Silesia in 2007-2013 ON SITE TESTS We provide on site EMC tests for stationary and mobile objects that are either too difficult or impossible to transport such as military vehicles or whole systems. We are able to carry out the tests on our customers premises or on the carefully selected and suitable site. Cooperating closely with the customer’s R&D Department, our engineers deliver solutions ensuring that the final product fully complies with the requirements of EMC standards. The customers can thus save their time and resources which would otherwise have to be involved in a costly redesigning process. We can prepare and implement updates and improvements in order to meet both, the military and civil requirements. CLIMATIC TEST CHAMBER Climatic test chamber with capacity of 1700 liters and temperature range of -70 to +180b°C and humidity of up to 95% enables simulation of different types of climate. SHOCK AND VIBRATION BRATION TESTING SYSTEM TRAININGS AND CONSULTANCY Shock and vibration machine with special controller enables performing sophisticated mechanical tests. Maximum static load: 600 kg. EMI FILTERS We produce EMI/EMC filters utilized in military vehicles, engine-generators, computer systems and other equipment operating in extreme environmental conditions (vibration, high or low temperature, high humidity) We do provide technical support in subject of EMI/EMC and organize trainings designed especially for our customers. With the company development the range of products of our official cooperators was extending and thus we became a representative and a distributor of these companies and their products.
