Version 15.0 is updated with a new feature: “offline” sell.
This mode will help you in the situation where you don’t have an internet connection available.
Homepage will change like this with a new “OFFLINE” icon.
This icon will be “grey” (disabled) until your tablet doesn’t synchronize once all data with Forlì
headquarter.
Synchronization is not automatic, you have to start manually.
Tip: start the synchronization process on store closure as well as put your tablet on charge so this
process will not slowdown your daily workflow.

To start “offline synchronization” tap on the menu option “offline mode”
In some tablet on landscape view, you should scroll down the menu to reveal this option.
Now you will see this screen:
The central button will be active only if your device is qualified from Headquarter.
Tap on central button to start the synchronization. You could check the current status with the
“dot” stage below. At every step completed, they will turn green.
Like said before, if you start the synchronization on late afternoon when your device is on charge,
the morning after you will find your tablet ready to go, with no slowdowns on your daily workflow.
At the and of the process, you’ll see:
Now if you go back to homepage, you will see the “offline” icon colored in red.
The “offline mode” page will tell you always when it was the last time that this device was
synchronized:
You could launch the synchronization anytime: every day, even after 1 minute..
But is it necessary? It depends if there are brand new promotions.
If you start another synchronization already done before, it will ask a confirm:
If confirmed, “offline mode” will be disabled until the end of the new synchronization.
You could switch to “offline mode” by tapping on the red “offline” icon

You could switch to offline even if your internet connection is up and stable. In this scenario, it will
ask for a confirm.
OFFLINE MODE
In offline mode you can proceed step by step in a customer order (with also the pricelist
consultation).
The order step by step creation in offline mode is almost the same to online mode.

In the other steps you will find some differences. Let’s find out:

The promo list is loaded immediately, before the fabric match with the item. Furthermore this list
will be sorted from highest price to lowest price (unlike online mode).
This is made to “force” you choosing the right promotion based on current promotion period or
coatings type (in offline you must do it manually)

TIP: Just remember to drag and drop coatings over the selected item otherwise the will not be
saved on the configuration.

Is disabled. You can’t sell Expo item on offline mode.
STEP 6
Is just like online mode (even the chance to take pictures at customer’s id card..) but you have to
fill all field manually (in online mode some field are filled automatically, like city starting from ZIP
code)
STEP 9
“Fee per kms” (that is the amount of the delivery cost based on the distance in kilometers from the
store to the customer house) has to be filled manually because the distance is calculated with
google maps service (which is unavailable in offline mode..)
STEP 10
At this stage you can’t connect to headquarters to verify your order due the lack of internet
connection.
You can only print a PDF version or SAVE the order.
Saving the order, a PDF will be created. That PDF can be print in the same way of online mode.
WARNING: This order is saved on your device until internet connection turn on again, therefore
you can print it only from tablet and not from FIP.
WARNING: For the same reason this order is accessible only from your device. Even if internet turn
on again, you have to open it from tablet and save it again to send it to headquarter’s server.
WARNING: in offline mode you can’t see also the graphic template of the sofa in order.
Below you will find the procedure to load “offline” orders on headquarters server.
In “Consultation”
Two new section
1. Offline Ord. (Orders saved while in offline mode)
2. Offline Quo. (Quotes saved while in offline mode)
In offline mode these are the only two options available.
From this section you could reload every order made in offline mode.
If “online mode” is up and running again, you can reload this offline orders, take them through
validation check and save them finally in our server.
SAVE OFFLINE ORDER TO SERVER
When the internet connection is up again, is possible to modify the offline orders and save them to
the headquarters server.
Tap on “consultation”, on the device where that particular order was made, and reload it.
Now you can proceed once more through the 10 steps of the order.
Step 3
If an item price is changed from the “offline” price, a message will be shown.
Step 7
Personal data are rechecked and changed automatically if there are some errors.
Step 9
With the same logic, all fees (mks and seats) will be recalculated and changed if there are
differences between online and offline mode.
Step 10
Now in online mode all the checks could be done.
And finally you can save this order to the main server.
WARNING:
When you save the order, you must delete the offline counterpart listed on “consultation” section.
You can’t save two times the same order on the main server.
From FIP you can easily check if the customer id documents are saved correctly.
There is also a PDF version of the order commission copy landed to customer when you were
offline.
