Arrival in Israel. Transfer to Netanya (on your own). If your flight arrives
early there will be time to relax and enjoy the beach. Evening get-together to
meet the other tour participants and receive basic orientation.

Morning Lectures at ICB:
Topics to be covered: Kingdom and Covenants, The History of Replacement
Theology, The Emergence of Restoration Theology and the History of the
Restoration Movement. Afternoon tour to Tel Aviv: Ben Gurion’s House in
Tel Aviv, Independence Hall and Beit Immanuel historic house.
Overnight: Netanya

Morning: Visit to the Atlit Prison camp and the Museum of Clandestine
Immigration in Haifa.
Afternoon Lectures:
An overview of the History of Modern Israel, the theology of the Land in
modern Judaism; Wars, Territory and Settlement: Issues in the current Israeli
Political Debate; Jewish and Arab believers in the State of Israel.

Israel’s borders with Lebanon, Syria and Jordan.
Visit Kibbutz Misgav Am overlooking Lebanon. Stop for lunch (on your
own) at a Druse village on the Golan Heights. Visit Mount Ben-Tal on the
Syrian border and then descend to the Sea of Galilee. Time permitting, stop at
Kibbutz Degania to learn about the early days of the Kibbutz movement.
Continue along Israel’s Jordan Valley border with Jordan.
Evening Lecture: The Rise of Radical Islam

Ascend Temple Mount, the heart of the Old City. Visit the Western Wall
and tour the Christ Church Heritage Center to study the contributions of
the Evangelical community to the development of Jerusalem. View the
excellent audio visual presentation of the 1967 Six Day war at Ammunition
Hill, before continuing on to Hebrew University. Tour the Israeli Knesset
and discuss the effect of the electoral system on Israeli politics and the Herzl
Museum to study the role of Theodore Herzl in the rise of modern Zionism.
Evening: Optional excursion to the Prayer Center in the Clal building for an
evening of prayer for Israel.

Visit Yad Vashem (the Holocaust Museum). Visit the community of Kfar Jerusalem
Etzion (including sound show) to learn about the history and revival of Israeli
settlements in this area and their reestablishment in the 1970s. In the
afternoon, meet with Palestinian Christians in Bethlehem to learn first-hand
of their situation and concerns.

Free Day in Jerusalem additional sites in Jerusalem on your own or attend a
messianic service or visit additional sites or museums in Jerusalem.
Evening: Israel in Eschatology

Today we’ll focus on the War of Independence, visiting the “Burma Road”,
the Armor Corp museum at Latrun. View the pre-67 border in this area and
continue to the Ayalon Institute (Rehovot). We’ll also look at some of
Israel’s cutting-edge research by a visit to the Weizmann Institute of Science
visitor’s center, followed by a farewell dinner. The tour will end at the airport
in Tel Aviv for those taking evening flights home. Those staying on for
additional days can take the train from there to Tel Aviv or other destinations,
or take a shared taxi (Sherut) back to Jerusalem.
