ordinary park. Dilworth offers endless ways
to entertain – from lunchtime concerts & pop-up
boutiques, to DJ dance parties & open-air
movie screenings – all set at the gateway to
historic City Hall.

pics by the fountain & join Mayor Nutter for the ribbon-cutting
ceremony, 11AM-12PM. Be the first to experience the city’s lively new
centerpiece with an arts & cultural festival in the heart of the city.

Bounce to live music & snack on picnic-style lunches at
Dilworth’s inaugural all-day picnic. Cap off the day with Sips in
the Park, 5PM-7PM, where you can mix, mingle & enjoy happy

Wrap up opening weekend with a playtime bonanza with fountain
fun, music, storytelling, arts & crafts, games & more for the
entire family.

Join us every Tuesday for movies al fresco in the
magnificent shadow of City Hall. Grab a drink &
dinner at the café first & then settle into your lawn
chair for a one-of-a-kind cinema experience.

Philadelphia’s center stage shines every Wednesday
afternoon with a showcase of local music, dance &
performing arts. This free weekly series will inspire
Philadelphians of all ages, highlighting the full
spectrum of the city’s arts community & energizing
this historic space atop the Avenue of the Arts.
As an added bonus, First Person Arts will be on hand
with a Story Slam during intermission each week.
