EVENTS DIARY 2015
WEARDALE
Weardale is the heart of the North Pennines and is probably the least
known major dale of the English uplands. The views are magnificent and
unspoilt; the area is also known for its footpaths and bridleways, and the
Weardale Railway will allow you to enjoy it all un-hindered by traffic. The
railway also provides a useful base for walks between stations along the
banks of the beautiful and gentle river Wear.Your journey will take you at a
leisurely pace beside the river with magnificent views of the dale.
