Follow brown signs to Weardale A68/A689 junction, follow signs to Wolsingham approx 4 miles.You can either park at Wolsingham station (largest carpark), or carry on to Stanhope.Weardale Motor Transport Bus 101 serves Weardale from Bishop Auckland to Stanhope. In each village, the stations are signposted, ask the driver for the nearest bus stop.Trains along ‘The Heritage Line’ from Darlington mainline station via Darlington North Road (museum) and Shildon (Locomotion) to Bishop Auckland.
