over 5000 individual
components
The further development of vital
details was an essential aspect
of perfecting the new Morino
class. For example, optimizing
the airflow to the reeds in both
treble and bass has led to better
sound definition as well as more
service-friendly bass strap mounting
differentiated and sensitive
response. The new keyboard design ensures an easy,
pleasant and interactive playing feel. Numerous lovingly
executed, finely detailed modifications improve handling
and support ease of servicing the new Morino class.
sevice-friendly reedblock fixing
The more than 5000 individual components, made of 43 Morino de Luxe Keyboard
different materials and assembled in a total of 41 modules, present an enormous logistical and
technical challenge which demands the highest level of craftsmanship. Our master accordion
builders have risen to the occasion.
With the new Morino class, HOHNER presents an accordion which leaves nothing to be
desired.

your Morino, which is then specially built and
modified to your requirements.
We offer three basic variations, which can be
designed as you desire:

This is the most fancy
and elaborate variation.

extends to the optical design of these
instruments. No matter how outrageous,
every design idea can be realized through
professional airbrushing, creating valuable
„one of a kind“ instruments for discerning
accordionists in all musical styles who also
want to offer their listeners a visual treat.

register of the Converter Series can be
installed if desired.
3. Airbrush design

• first choice in orchestras
• perfect for solo performers
• accustomed to the spotlight
In accordion orchestras, the HOHNER Morino ensures a perfect
ensemble sound. The consistency of the HOHNER tuning,
which has remained constant for decades, is responsible for the
legendary quality of the typical homogenous orchestra sound.
Soloists love the characteristic sound of the Morino, whether
performing alone or in a group. The powerful Morino sound is
perfect for every stage situation and is equally at home in classical
music, pop, rock or jazz.

This legendary sound also owes a debt to the great pioneer of
Oberkrainer music, Slavko Avsenik, whose playing technique on
the Morino helped establish the Oberkrainer sound worldwide.
Today a new generation of young musicians carries on his tradition
and takes this music to new realms of success with the Morino.
You will find the complete HOHNER accordion program in the
HOHNER accordion catalogue at your specialist retailer.
