The MAHLE PowerPak is a
complete, race proven piston
assembly kit composed of hand
deburred, forged, performance
coated pistons, high quality steel
pins, round wire locks and low drag
performance rings.
Performance coatings include a
phosphate dry lubricant that is
used to protect against ring
micro-welding and pin galling
during initial startup and break in.
For added performance, MAHLE
applies its proprietary Grafal® antifriction coating to each piston skirt.

The MAHLE ProSeries piston is race-ready and designed for professional
racing-oval, dirt, circle track, and drag. MAHLE gives you a competitive
edge with pistons that are perfectly prepared when you tak e them
out of the box. We machine the correct valve reliefs, dome profiles
and ring grooves for competition. We fit the pins with proper clearances.
Then we inspect and hand deburr every piston. Plus, with factoryapplied phosphate and Grafal® skirt coatings, you eliminate the
expense and uncertainty of aftermark et coatings.

tried out MAHLE Pistons. Here's why I've been using them ever
since: We verify the accuracy of all dimensions, and are amazed with
their exacting tolerances...especially the ring grooves. Plus, they
come pre-pin fitted and de-burred, straight from the factory. This
literally saves us an average of two hour s in piston prep time per

PERFORMANCE RINGS
MAHLE pioneered the use of piston ring simulation and computer
development tools to develop rings that provide “free” horsepower
by successfully minimizing friction. The difference is evident on the
dyno and on the track. MAHLE’s ultra flat ring flanks maximize ring
to piston sealing.
Our top ring is a ductile iron, plasma moly, barrel face configuration.
Our second ring is a cast iron, rever se twist. Our oil rings are a
3-piece style and are offered in both standard and low tension.
A large selection of coordinated piston ring sets are available in
1/16”, 1/16”, 3/16” or 1.5mm, 1.5mm, 3.0mm or ultra-low friction .043”,
.043”, 3.0mm sizes.

NOTES
All weights given are design weights. Actual weights may vary.
Compression Ratios are calculated based on "zero" deck height, .040” gasket and the
exact combustion chamber (cc) listed, unless otherwise noted.
Our pistons are designed to use rings which maintain the same radial width regardless of
"oversize." Certain ring manufacturers increase the radial width as bore oversize
increases, and these rings will not work with our pistons.
