Awards honor the best and most innovative use of brick in commercial, residential, landscape projects, or in other unique applications. A jury of architects from outside the state reviewed the project submittals and selected winners based on the skill and creativeness of the architect or architectural firm designing with brick. Award certificates were presented to the winning architectural firm, project owner, and the brick manufacturer and supplier. The President’s Award – the top brick award winner – carries with it a $2,000 scholarship donation to the winning firm’s architectural school of choice. The School of Architecture was well represented. Congratulations to the following 2012 award winners.
