Peter and Louise De Groot founded De Groot, Inc. in 1957 and built the company from a small,
family-run, flowerbulb business into a multi-million dollar corporation that now farms over 300
acres of land, has over 90,000 square feet of warehouse space and does business in all 50 states.

This is our 50th year of supplying quality perennials and flowerbulbs to the trade. We are located
near the shore of Lake Michigan where the climate and soil provide a great environment for growing
perennial plants and bulbs.
We feature a select line of Daylilies, Hosta and many other perennials. Our signature ‘Platinum Palette’
line of daylilies are AHS registered and demonstrate a high bud count, repeat blooms, fragrance, and
good color retention. Best of all, they are offered at competitive prices and come with picture tags.
This year we are planning to expand our field operations to better meet the growing demand for
quality domestic material.
We also remain a destination for flowerbulbs including Tulips, Daffodils, Crocus, Hyacinths, Amaryllis
and perennial Bearded Iris. You will find all of these items, plus a comprehensive list of container

Effective July 1, 2007. Due to current market conditions,
we reserve the right to change prices.
TERMS: F.O.B.: Coloma, MI. Net 30 days on approved accounts. Prompt payment is good business, and a finance charge
of 1.5% per month (18% annual) will be charged on
overdue invoices.
PAYMENT:
We accept Cash, Checks, Money Orders, Visa and
Mastercard.
MINIMUM ORDER: $125.00 for packaged, bareroot, and bulk products.
Orders must be placed in the quantities per variety as
listed. Orders not in compliance will be adjusted up
accordingly.
ORDERING: Orders are accepted and acknowledged on the condition
that they may be voided or changed without liability to
De Groot, Inc. for delay or failure to deliver caused by crop
failure, inclement weather, winter storage, or conditions
beyond our control. An order acknowledgement will be
mailed to you as confirmation of the merchandise you
have requested. Please notify us as soon as possible of
changes you wish to make. If you must alter or cancel
an order, we request 14 days advance notice prior to
scheduled ship date.

SHIPPING:
De Groot, Inc. will choose the most efficient and
economical carrier for shipping orders. Customer
shipping request for specific carriers will be honored. In all cases the customer is responsible for the product
after it is delivered by the carrier. De Groot, Inc. will not
be liable to the customer for delivery delays arising from
conditions beyond our control.
CLAIMS: All products must be unpacked immediately upon arrival. Inspection should be made with delivery driver present. Should any product be delivered in damaged condition,
please file a claim with the carrier, and notify us by calling
customer service at (800) 253-2876. Do not throw away any
product that has been reported damaged, as a disposition
authorization must come from De Groot, Inc. Claims or
shortages must be reported within 10 days of receipt of
shipment. Protect from excessive heat or cold, and keep
boxes away from moist or wet areas during storage.
We warrant our product to be viable, healthy, and free
from injurious insects and disease upon receipt. We give
no warranty to the viability of our product after 10 days
of receipt. We do not guarantee survival of plants potted
or planted in the Fall.
We accept no responsibility for the guarantee our
customers extend to their customers, and in no case will
De Groot, Inc. be liable for any amount greater than the
sum originally received for our product.

Our potted stock is available for Pick-up or Delivery beginning July 2007. Quantities are
limited, so please call our customer service department to request our latest availability and

availability can be FAXED or E-mailed to you. Your order will be pre-staged in advance for

TO PLACE AN ORDER FOR SHIPPING–
Our products are sold F.O.B.: Coloma, MI and shipped on a 4 shelf wooden rack.
Each rack will accommodate 196 plants. To help defray shipping charges, there is a 2 rack
minimum order- 392 plants. Prices include racking, shrink-wrap, and an attractive
Platinum Performers™ picture tag that is attached to the pot.
