The single-core, high-flow design of Borla’s Touring mufflers
adds power and driving excitement with a sound that is deep and
throaty, but just slightly louder than stock at open throttle. Perfect

The S-Type’s optimized combination of packing filament,
straight-through core dimensions, perforation pattern and
cylindrical shape delivers the intoxicating Borla “Sound of

The size, quantity and perforation patterns of ATAK muffler cores

POCKET VALVE™
®
Always looking for ways to improve exhaust
flow and engine efficiency, Borla engineers
set out to re-think the traditional "butterfly"
valve design utilized by most exhaust
systems. The result is the revolutionary
Pocket Valve™. In the "open" position, the
door of the valve pivots into a recessed
pocket of the pipe wall, which eliminates the
partial obstruction of the butterfly design and
dramatically increases exhaust flow. The
valves, which are utilized by factory cylinder
deactivation systems and user-controlled
driving performance modes, will begin
