TOULOUSE
Toulouse, the ancient capital of Occitanie, nicknamed La Ville Rose, sung by Claude
Nougaro, is located in the region Midi-Pyrénées midway inbetween Mediterranean Sea and
Atlantic Ocean. In the aftermath of the pioneers of aviation (Clément Ader, Latécoère,
Mermoz, Saint-Exupéry, ... l’Aéropostale) Toulouse has become the bridgehead of the
European aeronautics and astronautics adventure.

CARCASSONNE
A round-trip (70 km) from Toulouse is planned (by coach or plane) for a one-day visit.
The medieval City of Carcassonne will drive you centuries in the past to join the Cathare
Chevalry and help them rebuff the assault of the army of Simon de Monfort ...

AVIGNON
You’ll be given the opportunity to dance Sur le Pont d’Avignon and visit Le Palais des Papes.
Benoît XII gave this monument in all its magnificence at the beginning of the XIVth century.
The Papal geopolitics vision was likely one
of the first steps forward that open the way
towards the Europe we know nowadays.

ANNECY
Strolling along the lake and in the
Old Town along its narrow streets
and along its water paths at the
foot of the mountains probably
still specked with remains of
snow is to be our heaviest
workload for this pleasant day.
« Ô temps ! Suspends ton vol, et vous,
heures propices,
Suspendez votre cours ;
Laissez-nous savourer les rapides délices
Des plus beaux de nos jours ! »
Alphonse de LAMARTINE
Ô time, stop your flight ! And you,
auspicious hours,
Interrupt your flow ;
Let’s enjoy the prompt delights
Of our days the nicest !

BEAUNE
No comment needed : Clos-Vougeot, Meursault, Pommard, Chassagne-Montrachet ... these
names are harmony for our ears, smell for our nose, taste for our pleasure !
We’ll benefit from our sojourn in Bourgogne
to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the
creation of the French Section. It will be the
opportunity to gather a worldwide attendance
around our Gala dinner in the prestigious
premises of the famous Château de Meursault.
We’ll have anyway a full day devoted to the
discovery of some Burgundy Grands Crus.

STRASBOURG
Strasbourg has been on the World Heritage List
since 1988. Named "Grande-Île", the boundaries
of the territory selected are formed by the River Ill
and the Faux-Rempart canal. It is linked to the rest
of the city by twenty-one bridges and footbridges
and constitutes the historic core of the city with
many of its central and commercial functions.
