Each contestant must play a Waltz, Jig and Reel or Hoedown or Hornpipe. Each contestant will be allowed one instrument for accompaniment. First prize can be won for 2 years consecutively only, in any one class. Contestant will be called 3 times, then automatically placed to end of class. Prize money and Judges’ marks will be presented on stage as soon as announced. Special prize given to the youngest and oldest competitor. Each contestant who does not place in the top 4 receives $5.00. Contestants admission will be refundable and will be included with their prize money. (Note: Children under 12 accompanied by an adult admitted free.) All judges decisions are final. Gladys VanEgmond will donate $100 to draw winner of 12 years and under class. Note: All Junior and Open Group dancers must show floor movement while dancing their routine. Average ages will be considered. (Non-prize winners groups: each dancer receives $2.00 consolation prize.) 7. Error made by accompanist, dancer may dance again. 8.
