program - Ludwig`s Corner Horse Show and Country Fair
©Ed Bacon September 5th, 6th & 7th, 2015 Dear Ludwig’s Corner Friends, For the 72nd year, a very special event is happening over Labor Day weekend at the intersection of routes 401 and 100 in Glenmoore, Chester County. Thousands of people gather who share a love of horses and dogs, open space, and of equestrian competition: hundreds of riders and their horses, antique carriages, cars and tractors, generous sponsors and donors, scores of volunteers and members, and many thousands of spectators. All of us who attend the show have clear memories of wonderful times here with friends and family over the years, celebrating the equine tradition particular to our corner of the world. Please thank those sponsors and committee members listed in this program when you see them over this weekend. They give of their resources, talent and time and are critical to the success of this ongoing tradition. We would like to thank our advertisers who support us through their generosity. Consider ways that you can help carry the tradition forward, and enjoy the show. If it’s Labor Day, it must be Ludwig’s! Very sincerely, Sarah C. Reese President 2015 PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE The business of maintaining and improving this area of open space is a yearround concern for the LCHSA Board and other key volunteers. The rings and fencing always need work, as does the preservation of the structures and bleachers. Other horse and dog shows use this facility throughout the season, as do youth sport teams and corporate events. As Chester County becomes less rural and more suburban, these 33 acres of open space become even more precious, dedicated to the use and enjoyment of our members and the community. 2015 LUDWIG’S CORNER HORSE SHOW BOARD OF DIRECTORS John Bachich Sarah Reese George Cooney Judy Rosato Beth Engle Amy Thompson Barbara Pennel Van Horn Wayne Grafton Dunwoody Zook John Jacobs Lynne Cooksey, ex-officio 3 Rosato Family Foundations Silver Lexus of Chester Springs Bronze Carol Atterbury • Brook Ledge, Inc.
