AND SO WE BID YOU ADIEU EXPERIENCE AND DUB LABS
December 9, 2011
HOLIDAY ISSUE
AND SO WE BID YOU ADIEU
To graduating seniors and graduate students, we bid you farewell as you disembark this Pirate ship for future career
adventures. For those of you who have found friendly shores in the guise of new jobs, congratulations. For those of you
who are still seeking your treasure, please stay in touch with us whether directly, via the BUZZ, e-Recruiting, and/or our
job posts. In a piece of good news, as you move on and as reported in the Dec. 2 issue of The Wall Street Journal, the
jobless rate has dipped to its lowest level in more than two years. The ship turns into the wind at last?
For those of you returning, the Career Services team looks forward to helping you find a rewarding job or internship as
the case may be – and remember, looking for that opening will take a some real commitment and effort on your part as
the job market remains extremely competitive.
In any event, to all of you a very Merry Christmas and best wishes for a happy and prosperous New Year.
EXPERIENCE AND DUB LABS PARTNER TO DELIVER JOBS AND INTERNSHIPS TO COLLEGE STUDENTS
NATIONWIDE VIA MOBILE DEVICES
Experience is pleased to partner with Dub Labs, a leading provider of mobile applications for higher Ed institutions, to
deliver targeted jobs and internships on university-wide mobile apps.
The combination will now make it easier than ever for students to search and find meaningful job opportunities
anytime, anywhere on their iPhone, Android, and BlackBerry devices.
Students will also be able to access their course details (assignments, grades, discussions, class roster), campus news,
events, social networks, maps, directory, notifications, and more.
With nearly 60% of students using smartphones on campus, students want the convenience of conducting their job
search via their mobile devices. This partnership makes it incredibly easy for students to keep career development at the
forefront of their academic experience, and for career centers to engage students earlier in the process.
Schools using Experience’s eRecruiting career management system will have job opportunities appear in their campuswide mobile app from Dub Labs. Students will be able to view job highlights and then apply via eRecruiting.
About Dub Labs:
The Dub Labs mobile app platform has been licensed by more than 600 higher ed institutions. The platform supports
custom university apps on iPhone, Android, and Blackberry devices and integrates with multiple ERP and LMS to deliver
the first fully connected higher Ed mobile solution.
