ASOFRAME CARBON KEVLAR
The ASOFRAME structure joins the toe and heel counters in one uniform chassis.
Only weighing 125 grams (UK 8) in its lightest form on the new EIGER GV product,
it is comprised of 2 materials - Carbon and Kevlar – that are bonded together to
offer maximum torsional and lateral rigidity while being virtually indestructible.
In order to accept automatic crampons, a low-profile, dual-density microporous
midsole is combined with 2 rigid PU tools in the heel and toe areas.
Maximum lightness, shape-resistant, and optimal performance are some
of the concept construction characteristics.

ASOFRAME TECHNOLOGY
The Asoframe gives solidity, lightness and a comfortable fit to the AFS 8000 and
AFS Evoluzione. The Asoframe uses a single moulded structure combining the
midsole, heelcounter and toebox. Various plastic formulae are used to alter the
stiffness of the boot giving varying performance characteristics for each model.

The lower part of the boot is contained into a gaiter, it adds waterproofness
and protection, the upper part is extremely soft and comfortable,
and allows the maximum freedom of movement while using it.

ASOFRAME CARBON KEVLAR
The ASOFRAME structure is created from various overlapped layers of carbon and Kevlar.
Thanks to its properties, it offers the maximum performance in terms of torsion rigidity with
an incredible light weight (only 125 grams in size 8 UK). The thin layer in which the toe box
is contained allows the reduction of the thickness in the toe of the boot, granting a better
sensibility even during extreme use conditions.

The D-LYNX, a new innovative technical crampon
born from the collaboration between two leader brands
in this sector. Creates a highly precise and customized
crampon adjustement. User adjustable for custom
design (weigth gr 420/pair).The articulation slot C
serves as a barycentre for the front structure, which
working in conjunction with points A and B enables
to move forward and backward. In this way, you have
a 7mm spur’s extent.
It is also developed in order to enable a 2,5 °
lateral rotation (both inside and outside).
This new system allows adjustability in different
positions and fine tuning by the user.
You can adjust the crampon rear part in the same
manner as the front by acting on the screws D,E,F
then moving back and forward to the desired
setting (up to 5 mm back and forth movement.)
A new project developed by Asolo in conjuction with petzl intended for extreme
athletes looking for higher levels of precision and adjustment.

The new models, which are fully compatible with semi-automatic crampons,
have been designed and developed through very detailed and accurate research
with professional testers. Particular attention has been paid to all details
and the finest materials carefully chosen. The primary goal has been to develop
highly technical, lightweight, precision products for technical and mixed
route climbing.

Light, precise and with a low profile. These are the main features of the new
Rock outsole, with a midsole, engineered using three specific materials,
to offer extremely high levels of shock absorption and light weight.
The Vibram® rubber outsole with its bold design and self-cleaning lugs, provide
excellent performance and guarantee optimum grip on varying types of terrain.

Developed following the anatomically shaped Asolo last, the lasting board
is made of carbon fibre, providing superbly lightweight and outstanding
underfoot rigidity. The upper part of the lasting board is covered
by a neoprene layer, to give improved insulation and cushioning.

DUAL INTEGRATED SYSTEM
The D.I.S. forms an integral part of the heel zone and is specifically designed to facilitate
the use of ‘semi automatic’ and ‘automatic’ crampons. Made with two different materialfused together, it offers stability, support and shock absorption. The upper material
in thermoplastic polyurethane grants stability and support while the lower section
is in polyurethane offering comfort and shock absorption. This is also combined with

POWER MATIC TECHNOLOGY
Highly technical and one-of-a-kind, the Asolo POWER MATIC sole is comprised of three
different PU densities that are co-injected and molded together. The high-density front
portion secures and guarantees maximum stability. The medium-density heel reduces
shock and resulting fatigue during take-off and landing. Further shock absorption is
obtained through the four strategically placed low-density cylinders that are linked from
the outsole to the midsole. Gripped with a dual-density molded rubber outsole produced
in conjunction with Vibram®, the arch area uses a very high-density rubber to maximize
support over the long-haul while the balance of the outsole has self-cleaning lugs
designed for optimum performance on varying types of terrain.
MICRO PULLEY SYSTEM
The revised and newly patented Micro Pulley uses state-of-the-art materials
and components to set it apart from other conventional lacing systems.
Made of four different materials (Zinc-Alloy, Brass, Steel and Zamac), the pulley
system offers effortless lacing with maximum durability while remaining extremely
lightweight. And because each pulley works independently with reduced lace abrasion,
the result is overall improved performance, fit and comfort.

The new TPS sole, designed by Asolo in partnership with Vibram®, incorporates three
shock absorbers that correspond with the areas of foot that receive highest impact
during activity. These shock absorbers can be identified by their different color respect
to the sole. The shock absorbers are created by combining two polyurethane layers one of high and one of low density. These layers are individually coloured using a new
and innovative technology. The TPS sole improves comfort, stability and has a very
distinctive look.

The cylinder in the heel area (external part), is the shock
absorber to the first impact of the foot with the ground.
The second cylinder in the heel area (inner part)
provides stability to the walking gate.
The rocker, the final action, is supported by the cylinder

from a combination of material, manufacturing process, design and colour:
a mix of passion and technology.

RADIANT OUTSOLE
A new Asolo project developed in conjunction with Vibram®. The name of the
outsole development expresses all the technical features of the outsole which
offers outstanding performance and grip with a radial effect on base representing
the moving forces. Aggressive heel cleats and an Aso-brake system enhance
the grip on steep descents, while the forefoot design offers increased protection,
support and control of pronation. A moulded eva midsole improves foot control
and offers a high level of comfort.

Light, yet well specified and structured, these boots are ideal for users seeking
a versatile and top quality, light-hiking product. The particular attention has been
paid to the design, colours, materials and manufacturing in the production
of this new line of products.
The rubber Vibram® outsole with its aggressive heel design, differentiated cleats
profile, and a lateral line enveloping the outsole and the moulded eva midsole
on the medial area are the main features of the sole. This is then combined
with a moulded heel support for excellent shock absorption.

Dual-colored rubber outsole with a low lateral profile which reflects the new
Natural Shape fit. Bold and harmonious outsole design focussed on the main
points of impact of the foot with the ground during take-off and landing.
Moulded eva midsole made with new compounds’ generation which exalt
lighteness, roundness and support. Tpu central Insert Asoflex Natural Shape
positioned between the outsole and the eva midsole and moulded directly on it.
Its particular structure offers support and improves foot control on the sides
and on the back area, whereas the slots in the medial part allow a smooth
and pleasant rolling.
