In today's fast changing economic environment, businesses have to maximize every asset, internal and external, that they can leverage. The new millennium has seen many new op-opportunities as well as new challenges in most sectors of business. Recruitment is the first part of a multi-stage process that includes selection, offer of employment and actual induction of the employees who have accepted the offer. Going through the process of recruitment enables an organization to get first-hand information of the potential human resources available and increase its pool of employable people by accumulating the resumes of people collected through the recruitment exercise. In a fast paced, dynamic world, where time and consequently cost are of primary importance, usage of tools which will not only speed up this process but also make it more efficient are critical to the success of the organization.
