I’m Gonna Give It Away Your Prayers Have Been Heard II Corinthians 4:4-7; Luke 6:38; Mark 4:24-25 Verse 1 The light of the gospel, has shone in my heart. To shine the Light of Jesus, into the dark. This treasure I have in this body of clay, continues to grow, when I give it away. So I’m gonna give it away. Chorus I’m gonna give it away, I’m gonna give it away. The love of Jesus keeps getting stronger and I can’t contain it, any longer. So I’m gonna take what I’ve been given and give it away, as long as I’m livin’, I’m gonna give it away. Verse 2 This is a paradox, but I know that it’s true. Give what you have, it will be given to you. Good measure, pressed down, filling every space, it’s spilling out and running all over the place. So I’m gonna give it away. Acts 10:1-4 Verse 1 He had prayed for many days, a man full of faith, he was steadfast and true. As Cornelius prayed, he saw a man in white standing there in the room. He said, “Don’t be afraid, I’ve come here with a message from on high. Your prayers have been heard, your alms are a memorial in God’s sight. Sheryl Farris McKameys Publishing Co./BMI Chorus Repeat Chorus Tag So I’m gonna take what I’ve been given and give it away as long as I’m livin’, I’m gonna give it away. Sandy Blythe Blythe Music Group/BMI Chorus Your prayers have been heard, I know the answer’s on the way. You haven’t been forgotten. He heard the first time that you prayed. Until the waiting is over, keep holding on to faith and standing on His word. God sent me today, to confirm, your prayers have been heard. Verse 2 Sometimes the days turn into years and you can’t count the tears, while you’re waiting on the Lord. There’s still a mountain in your way, the problem’s still the same just like the day before. Oh, but I’ve come here with a message, your faithfulness has reached the Father’s throne. He said your prayers have been heard He’s moving, if you’ll just keep holding on. Repeat Chorus Tag Until the waiting is over, keep holding on to faith and standing on His word. God sent me today, to confirm, your prayers have been heard. God sent me today, to confirm, your prayers have been heard. There Is a Peace Adina Bowman HabeHolt Music/BMI Steve E. Hamby Steve Hamby Music/BMI Where He Is While I Wait Romans 5:1; Ephesians 2:14 Verse 1 There is a storm, too strong to brave there is a night much too dark to see the way. To every life, there comes a day when every cloud comes closing in in shades of grey. Chorus 1 There is a peace, I can’t explain. There is a balm in Gilead a Name above all names. There is a cross, to which I run and underneath its outstretched arms the work is done. For when I touch Calvary, there is a peace! Verse 2 There’s nothing I have ever known that can compare to what I see in Christ alone. So when I am overwhelmed, lead me back to that Rock in a weary land. Repeat Chorus John 14:1; I Thessalonians 4:13-18 Mark 8:35-36, Titus 2:11-14; Romans 8:23-24 Verse 1 Let not your heart be troubled Jesus told His disciples, “You believe in God, believe also in me. A place for you, I’ll go prepare, and to myself receive you there, that where I am, you may also be.” Chorus So then why should we worry? When we know the ending of the story. If we’ve been saved by His Amazing Grace, He’ll take us to that glorious place. Where we’ll live for eternity, that where He is, we will also be. Verse 2 We’re also told in His Word that none other than the Lord, will Himself come back for the redeemed. The dead in Christ will rise up first, those that remain, will be caught up, and with the Lord, we will ever be. Chorus Repeat Chorus Tag That where He is, we will also be. Sheryl Farris McKameys Publishing Co./BMI Chorus I’m waiting for my Blessed Hope, to see my Savior come. Living for His glory, and telling of His grace—while I wait. Verse 1 I know that I have been redeemed. Jesus gave His life for me. I’ll lose my life to gain my soul. To be like Christ is now my goal—while I wait. Verse 2 My friend, don’t give in to despair. You will find no answers there. We’re more than conquerors in Christ. He strengthens us to win the fight—while we wait. Chorus 2 I’m waiting for my Blessed Hope, to see my Savior come. Living for His glory, and telling of His grace—while I wait. While I wait! Bridge So I’ll keep working ‘til He comes, No, I’ll not be complacent. As He completes His work in me, I’ll wait for Him with patience. Repeat Chorus 2 Tag Living for His glory, and telling of His grace— While I wait. while I wait. I’ll Give You Grace Lift My Voice I Have a Home II Corinthians 12:7-10 Verse 1 Just like Paul I’ve bowed in prayer, and I’ve cried out in despair, and I asked the Lord to take this thorn from me. But then the Savior says, “My child, I won’t take away this trial, but I’ll show you how to live in victory.” Job 1:20-22; Psalm 113:3 Verse 1 In days of old, the prophet Job, lost all his children, his silver and gold. As he stood in the ashes, they heard him say, “I will lift my voice, and give Him praise”! Chorus I will lift my voice, and give Him praise. With all my heart, I will bless His name. I don’t want the rocks to cry, in my place. I will lift my voice and give Him praise! Ecclesiastes 3:11; Revelation 21:3-4; II Peter 3:8 Richard Blythe Blythe Music Group/BMI Chorus I’ll give you grace, when you’re weary, from the journey. Grace sufficient for each trial that you face. I won’t remove this thorn from you Oh but this is what I’ll do. I’ll show you a better way, I’ll give you grace. Verse 2 I have seen what He’s done before, and I’m learning to trust Him more. For I’ve seen what the power of grace can do. Though there’s danger up ahead, I’ll remember what Jesus said, That if He won’t take me out, He’ll take me thru. Chorus Repeat Chorus Tag I’ll show you a better way, I’ll give you grace. Robert Deel McKameys Publishing Co./BMI Verse 2 The Lord has been so good to me from sin’s strong chains He has set me free. I will tell this world that Jesus saves. I will lift my voice and give Him praise! Repeat Chorus Verse 3 From the rising sun, till the going down. May a song of praise, on my lips be found. If the day may bring, sunshine or rain, I will lift my voice and give Him praise! Repeat Chorus Tag I will lift my voice and give Him praise! Sheryl Farris McKameys Publishing Co./BMI Verse 1 God has put eternity, down deep in my soul. It is a sense that life will continue, when this world is gone. I have a dwelling place with God, built by Him alone. I’m ready to claim, my inheritance sweet, Oh! I have a home. Chorus I have a home! (where there is no night) I have a home! (where the Lamb is the Light) A place where God wipes, all tears from our eyes and death cannot come. There’ll be no crying, no mourning, no pain. All things will be new, the old passed away. When my life here is done, I will keep living on. Oh! I have a home. (Oh! I have a home.) Verse 2 Place my body in the ground, but don’t weep long. I will be praising my dear Savior, bowed at His throne. I will enjoy sweet rest with Him, like I’ve never known. A thousand years is as one day with Him. Oh! I have a home. Chorus Repeat Chorus What If Work in the Field Matthew 13:58; Mark 9:24; Hebrews 3:19; Ephesians 3:20 Matthew 9:37; John 4:35-38; Revelation 20:11-12; 22:20 Verse 1 Life can be filled with “what ifs” and “if onlys” as we settle in the valley of regret. A hopeless situation has no consolation and it seems that giving up is all that’s left. But we must take God at His Word and have the faith to trust the Lord, knowing that He’s not finished yet. Chorus I’m gonna work in the field until He comes. The laborers are few, there’s much work to be done. Lift up your eyes, look on the field they’re white unto harvest. So I’m gonna work in the field, until He comes. Verse 1 God is the keeper of the vineyard, the field is the souls of all mankind. I’m laying up my treasures working for the Master. To get this harvest in, while we have time. Sheryl Farris McKameys Publishing Co./BMI Chorus What if... we really believed, that God will meet our every need, and nothing is impossible with Him. But what if... when we stand before our Maker instead of hearing “You’ve been faithful” as we give account for every word and deed. He says “Child, I had so much in store, if only you had trusted more. It only takes the faith of a mustard seed. What if, if only you believed. Verse 2 Now unto Him who is able to do far more than all that I can even think to ask. And when I must surrender it’s time to remember His plans are bigger than my mind can grasp. But I’ll never know what God will do ‘til I trust in Him to see me through, knowing He will bring His will to pass. Repeat Chorus Linda Nixon McKameys Publishing Co./BMI Repeat Chorus Verse 2 So many sin sick souls are lost and dying. Lonely, hurting people need to know that someone cares. Jesus can heal, the spirit, soul and body. Let me lift them up to God in prayer. Repeat Chorus Verse 3 Jesus said in Revelation “I come quickly, to reward every man according to his work shall be”. I want to hear Him say “Well done, faithful servant.” Then I’ll know His blessed face I’ll see. Repeat Chorus Tag Lift up your eyes, look on the field they’re white unto harvest. So I’m gonna work in the field until He comes!
