Show Information
Stabling:
Permanent stalls with doors are available on a first come first
serve basis. Initial bedding not provided. Shavings available on site.
Please order shavings when reserving stalls.
Damage:
All owners and exhibitors shall be held responsible for any damage incurred by them, their agents or employees to buildings, stalls and
other properties on the show grounds, and shall be billed accordingly.
Refunds:
Full refunds will be given before 11/9/2012. After that date, stall
fees are not refundable. After the show starts, full refund will be given
minus fees for classes already held prior to notification to the horse show
secretary, whether exhibited or not. Scratches must be made in the horse
show office.
Schooling:
Schooling will be available after 3pm on Thursday in the Main
Hunter Ring. Schooling in Pony Ring and the Beginner/Jumper Ring will
be available for schooling on Thursday for hacking (jumping will be available if the rings are set). Pony Ring and the Beginner/Jumper Ring
schooling will be open all day Friday. Schooling on Friday in the Main
Hunter Ring will be available until 10am and then once the show is finished. Hacking only in the rings on show mornings.
Protective Headgear:
All exhibitors are required to wear properly fitting protective
headgear on the show grounds when mounted. Additionally, all exhibitors jumping must wear ASTM approved protective headgear with harness secured and properly fitted while mounted anywhere on the showgrounds. PHJA encourages all riders to wear protective headgear passing
or surpassing current applicable ASTM standards with harness secured
while riding anywhere on the show grounds. It is the responsibility of
the rider, parents, guardian, or trainer of the junior exhibitor to see to it
that the headgear worn complies with appropriate safety standards and is
properly fitted and in good condition.
Trainer Conflicts:
In order to keep the horse show running on time, the Main Hunter Ring
and the Pony Ring will NOT be held for trainer conflicts for flat classes.

Classics & Challenges:
The second round over fences in your division the first day will count as the
first round of your Classic. Your second round will be held the following day after
your two over fences classes. Exception: Green and Open Hunter Classics will be run
the same day. Challenges will be held on Sunday for the respective divisions or classes.
Cuts may be made in the larger divisions for the challenges and classics. You must be
entered in the entire division before it starts in order to be eligible for the classic or challenge.
Special Awards:
Best Child Rider on a Pony and Horse, Best Amateur Rider and the Jumper
Style Award. You must display the correctly colored arm band (available in the office).
Winners are decided by the judges and trophies will be awarded to each winner. Please
enter the appropriate class number on your entry form.
Class #400: Best Child Rider (Pony)

Class #500: Best Child Rider (Horse)
