Focus on studies
Students all study a full time academic
or vocational programme and have
the Sports Academy programme as
an additional element in their college
timetable. Being successful on your
chosen pathway both academically
and within your chosen sport is vitally
important. This is achieved through a
firm ethos of attendance, punctuality
and completion of all academic
work whilst participating fully in the
enjoyment of the sports provision. All
learners receive are tutored through
their programme and are encouraged
to represent the college. Please be
aware although there is flexibility in
the Sports Academy programme some
course choices may affect access to
some elements of provision.

to outline the programme and ask for
coach and teacher references to support
applications.
