Mazama Spring Fireside Circle Agenda Saturday June 4, Freestone Inn, Mazama, WA Presented by Washington’s National Park Fund We’ll start things off with a Saturday afternoon reception. You ’ll be welcomed by Laurie Ward, WNPF Executive Director, and Karen Taylor -Goodrich, North Cascades National Park Superintendent, on the deck overlooking the lake. Please note that our Fireside Circles are friend -raising not fundraising gatherings—so respectfully, please leave your checkbooks at home. 4:00 p.m. Arrive at the Fireside Circle reception at the beautiful Freestone Inn. Enjoy appetizers, wine, beer, and sparkling water. Meet new people, and relax on the deck overlooking the lake. 4:45 p.m. Fireside Circle presentation begins. Hear an update on the Grizzly Bear reintroduction project, and view a short video by Chris Morgan. Karen Taylor-Goodrich will also update us on the park’s Citizen Science project in North Cascades National Park—highlighting the Cascades Butterfly Project. 6:00 p.m. Reception comes to a close; interested attendees head over to Mazama Country Inn for dinner at 6:30 p.m. (on your own). Head home, or stay the night at Freestone Inn or Mazama Country Inn.
