control system continuously monitors changing conditions and
adjusts the variable-speed compressor as required to allow for
industry-proven performance to cool the sleeper on Class 8 trucks.

A Class 8 truck consumes approximately 1 gallon of

If your engine’s starter battery cannot start your
truck, activate Start Assist™ and ClimaCab® will
quick charge your truck’s starter battery. No more
waiting for roadside assistance or paying service
fees. Start Assist™ eliminates jump-starts, saving
you time and money.
Traditional HVAC controls are limited to High/
Medium/Low settings, which must be changed
manually. They can’t sense temperature changes to
automatically adjust the cooling output to maintain a
consistent comfort level. They require that the driver
wake up several times during the night to adjust the
temperature.

Cooling – ClimaCab’s high-volt variable-speed
compressor and blower deliver 8,000 BTUs per
hour of cooling for more than 12 hours. Intelligent
controls monitor and adjust to compensate for
changing temperatures, maximizing efficiency and

ClimaCab’s Power Management Module™ (PMM)
uses solid-state charger technology to enable
compatibility with existing high output alternators,

conditioner to the thermal load in the cab enabling

The ClimaCab® touch screen takes the guesswork
out of comfort. Its digital interface is intuitive and
easily lets drivers set temperature levels. After
turning on the system, the driver immediately sees
the current cab temperature. He simply inputs his
desired temperature and the system does the rest.

Heating: Fuel-fired Heat – When heat is needed,
ClimaCab’s touch screen integrates with a heater
mounted under the bunk, retaining total system
control. Fuel-fired heaters use a small amount of
diesel fuel to obtain a significant heat output.

The ClimaCab® solution provides maintenance
savings over both primary engine idling and diesel
APUs. Class 8 truck engines get additional wear
due to idling, which reduces engine life. It is an
inefficient range of operation for both emissions
control and percentage of fuel burn. ClimaCab®
