The mother wasn’t with the baby, so she didn’t see him when he walked away. Later, a security camera on a bus filmed the baby boy-he boarded the bus alone. The driver and the passengers saw that no person was with the baby, so the driver stopped the bus and people called the police. Passengers took care of the baby until the officers came. When we should answer this question many of us say I do not have time, I cannot and so on. But we have time for facebook and playing computer games for many hours. Nowadays technology has evolved so much and fast. You cannot move in work or in life as they did in the past. Now there are machines that do everything for us. In today’s world there are many diseases like diabetes, the lack of activity and obesity threaten our humanity. But the question is how exercise affects them this problem in our lives. If we exercise, we are healthier and do not get sick, just read that, otherwise one does not work out. About exercise and its effect on people’s health, the researchers say training helps and a lot of people will be less sick. In otherworld’s, exercise can decrease the amount of fat on your body, increase blood circulation and give good condition. The cause is when we exercise increases our energy and heart palpitations that help a lot to burn fat in your body, lose weight, reduce blood pressure and adjust insulin levels. Exercise makes people alert and rested. Finally exercise is the best, miraculous and cheap medicine worldwide. Then I say if you want to train you do not need to just go to the gym. Walk is exercise too. In addition the walk is one of the best training that the researchers always recommend to us. We can train out in nature too and it is really nice. By Sheno Ahmadi 5 Ice hockey 2015 03 13 Gothenburg Ice hockey is a western sport, and often players need to have a strong body because it is very common to get hurt in this sport. I personally like ice hockey very much but I need to say ice hockey is very difficult to organize a game, because first you need to have equipment and then you need to have an ice rink. This is different from football and basketball, because all you need to play football and basketball is just a ball and two goals, you don’t need protective gear, you don’t need a club, you don’t need ice skates and you don’t need to pay for renting a big ice rink. I think this is why hockey is not popular in Asia, there are not many ice rinks in Asia. The rules of the game are simple but very special, one hour for a match, twenty minutes for a part, one match have three parts, they are called periods, you have fifteen minutes break between each period. Replacement players do not need to consult the referee, this can happen at any time. Ice hockey is a big test for players’ strength, in a professional ice hockey match players often need to be replaced. I really like hockey, especially the feeling. The feeling I get when I play it. By Zhihao Zhou The World Cup 2015-03-13 Qatar World Cup 2022 will played in November-December. FIFA's Executive Board is expected to approve a proposal for a working group meeting from 19 to 20 March. FIFA boss Sepp Blatter admits that the adoption of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar was a mistake. Choosing Qatar to host the World Cup was for financial reasons. Countries of this region have a lot of oil resources. During the summer in Qatar, the temperature in the shadow can be over 40 degrees Celsius, but in November-December, the average daily temperature is 25 degrees. The subsequent date will result in major changes in the national series. 6 The World Cup has received criticism of corruption and construction work. According to the website "Smithsonian", more than 900 workers have already died building the Qatar's World Cup infrastructure. The International Trade Union Confederation says that if conditions do not improve, at least 4,000 migrants will die before kick-off, mainly originating from Nepal and India. Unlike many cities, where specialist shops have gradually been replaced by large department stores and supermarkets, Norwich still has a wide variety of shops. One of the most unusual must be the Mustard shop. It sells nothing but mustard, and there are many different kinds. It has a mustard museum, which describes the history of Colman’s mustard. The Colman’s were a famous Norwich family who started a mustard-making business over 150 years ago. By Khwzga Shoani Freedom writers I watched this film and it is the best movie I have seen. The film is about children who have been discriminated against. Then they get criminals and became homeless. They are young sometimes they go to school .On day they got a female teacher then she help them to become a good group to get a better future. But her work is success and she became a good teacher because she saved their lives. This is the best film I have seen, I think so. I recommend this film to watch and experience the same feeling I got. By Said Yasin 8 Frida is one of my favourite movies This movie is about a biography of artist Frida Kahlo, She was a Mexican painter who is best known for her selfportraits. This film is an excellent introduction to Frida Kahlo and about her life and turbulent marriage to the famous Mexican muralist Diego Rivera. Until I seen this movie I had no idea who Frida Kahlo was and I had never heard of her. After seeing this film I immediately became a huge Frida Kahlo’s fan. After I had seen this movie I fell in love with her and in her artistic life and her personality. The Frida movie is about her Life, Biography, Drama and Romance. In this movie Salma Hayek and Alfred Molina is the main characters. The director is Julie Taymor. This film is made in USA, Canada and Mexico, The Frida move was released in 2002. The movie was adapted by Clancy Sigal, Diane Lake, Gregory Nava and Anna Thomas from the book Frida ((A Biography of Frida Kahlo)) by Hayden Herrera. This movie won Two Academy Awards for Best Makeup and Best Original Score. Artist Frida Kahlo was born on July 6, 1907, in Coyocoán, Mexico City, Mexico. Considered one of Mexico's greatest artists, after an accident, Frida Kahlo turned her attention away from the study of medicine to begin a full-time painting career. The accident left her in a great deal of pain while she recovered in a full body cast; she painted to occupy her time during her temporary state of immobilization. Her self-portraits became a dominant part of her life when she was immobile for three months after her accident. Frida Kahlo once said, "I paint myself because I am often alone and I am the subject I know best". Her mother had a special easel made for her so she could paint in bed, and her father lent her his box of oil paints and some brushes. Drawing on personal experiences, including her marriage, her miscarriages, and her numerous operations, Kahlo's works often are characterized by their stark portrayals of pain. Of her 143 paintings, 55 are self-portraits which often incorporate symbolic portrayals of physical and psychological wounds. She insisted, "I never painted dreams. I painted my own reality". While she never considered herself a Surrealist, Kahlo befriended one of the primary figures in that artistic and literary movement, Andre Breton, in 1938. That same year, she had a major exhibition at a New York City gallery, selling half of the 25 paintings shown there. Kahlo also received two commissions, including one from famed magazine editor Clare Boothe Luce, as a result of the show. A few days before Frida Kahlo died on July 13, 1954, she wrote in her diary: "I hope the exit is joyful - and I hope never to return - Frida" By Mani Saemi 9 It's Very Common with Cyberbullying Today it is very common to be cyberbullied in the internet world especially in computer games. In Sweden, one in three young people between 10 - 16 years old has been violated on the internet. Girls can be cyberbullied on many websites, for example in Kik, Facebook, Blogger and Instagram. There may be comments such as: you are ugly, fat, stupid, disgusting, weird, etc., words which are usually related to criticism about the appearance. For boys it is very common to be cyberbullied in the gaming world but not about their appearance. It is more often violations of their lives. Here are some cases from anti-bullying organization Friends: “My mother has passed away because of cancer and I got a message that says ‘Serves you right’” and “When I was a new player and not so good at this game, someone said I should commit suicide”. Friends supports anti-bullying and they try to stop violations on the internet. And it is not to easy to stop all the bullies. But if more people, including parents and specialists, try to work together to stop this, it would create better results. We need to take bullying more seirously and no one should be victimized. By Donna/Metro 2015-03-04 10 Four questions ….to Resmi Beka nurse in elderly care in the City of Gothenburg.Trained in 2011 What made you study to become a nurse? I have always had the desire to help people and particulary the elderly. A year after I started studying the nurse program I got a summer job and then I worked as a nursing assistant. Is it a stressful job as a nurse? If you work with older people be ready to take big responsibility because it means you take care of the lives of others and of course it gets stressful. Of course everyone wants to do a good job but it is stressful because there is not enough time. Do you enjoy training as a nurse? I like my education as a nurse very much. To become a good nurse you must have a lot of patience and interest to help your fellow human beings. Working as a nurse may also be physically laborious with many heavy lifts and awkward positions. What do you recommend to those who want to work in elderly care? Working in elderly care is a big responsibility. To begin with I would say that you have to like your job and of course you should have skills to work in elderly care. By Resmi Beka and Nathalie Seazavar 11 My Journey to New York! 14 September 2011. I took my first step outside Europe! I landed at Newark Airport, just outside of New York City in state of New Jersey, the weather was awesome and about 20-25+ degrees. I took the airport bus from airport into Manhattan which is the heart of New York City! I lived on a first class hotel on Avenue 42. Opposite one of the most famous Skyscrapers in the world - Chrysler Building which is 319 meters tall and was the tallest building in the world between May 1930 until April 1931. About 200 meters from the hotel, on same avenue is the fabulous - Grand Central Terminal located which is one of the largest train stations in the world. Next day on a Thursday 15, after the breakfast, I went to the Grand Central and took the subway down to the downtown of Manhattan. I did take a boat to the Staten Island and from the boat I was seeing the Statue of Liberty, when I went back to the Manhattan I went to the place where the twin towers of world trade center were located. After it, I went to the famous outlet store 21st Century to lock at clothes, but I didn't buy anything. After I visited 21st Century, I went to the little Italy and China-town, there I took a pizza for dinner that was delicious! Later that evening when I came back to the hotel, went out again, but now to one of the most famous things in American the Time Square which is located in the middle of Manhattan. It was amazing to see Time Square and to watch all LED screens. Next day, on Friday 16, who was my last day like 19 years old. I went out to the Grand Central and took the Subway up to Central park in north of Manhattan. I did see the house where John Lennon was murdered, in some parts of New York City live many of the most famous people of the world, for example Madonna, one of the world most famous singers. I went into the park, that was beautiful and lot of people were jogging and relaxed in the nice weather. After I'd visited the park, I went down from the park and walked along the Central park zoo. I walked down from the Central park on 5th Avenue and beside the largest Apple store in the world, actually it's open 24/7 and off course I did visit it. At the evening after I went back to the hotel, I went out again and now back to the Time Square and just walked around in the city by night. Gyoza is a very popular Japanese food. Originally, it was a kind of DimSum. But now it is a common house-hold dish. You can eat Gyoza in restaurants and you can buy Gyoza in Supermarkets in Japan. But most people make Gyoza at home. I would like to introduce my homemade Gyoza recipe here! Ingredients: For the Gyoza wrappers: flour, 5dl rice-flour, 2dl water, 2,5dl vegetable oil, 1tsp salt, a little bit (You can buy ”gyoza wrappers” from Asian surpermarkets in Gothenburg) For the filling: *soya sause, 3 tbsp Pork ground meat, 400g *sesame oil, 3 tbsp chinese cabbage, very finely chopped, 1/8 *japanese sake, 3 tbsp leek, very finely chopped, 1/2 (half green and half white) *white pepper, 2g Shiitake mushroom, 4-5 pieces Poteto starch , 3 tbsp *grated ginger, 5g vegetable oil to cook the dumplings water, 1-1,5dl Preparation method 1. For the gyoza wrappers, sift the flours into a large bowl and mix in the salt. Stir in the water and oil. Knead with your hands for a few minutes until the mixture comes together as a dough. 2. Roll the dough into a ball, cover with cling plastic wrap and set aside to rest for one hour. 16 3. Meanwhile, for the filling, mix all of seasoning (*marking) and meat in a bowl. Mixed with your hand until mixture comes sticky. 4. Chop leek and shiitake-mushrooms. 5. Chop Chinese-cabbege and mix with potato starch in another bowl. Mix it to soak it with air 6. Put in 3 to 4 + 5. Mix all of them with your hand. 7. Cut the dough into three equally sized pieces and roll each into a ball. Roll out one of the balls onto a lightly floured work surface, stretching and turning the dough as you go, until the gyoza dough is thin. Make around 10-12cm round form until all of the dough has been used. 8. To assemble the dumplings, hold a gyoza wrapper in the palm of your hand and add one teaspoon of the filling mixture. Wet the edges with a little water and seal the dumpling, pinching along the edges to create a fan shape. Repeat the process until all of the filling mixture has been used up 9. Heat the oil in a large, lidded frying pan and fry the dumplings for 1-2 minutes, or until crisp. (Do this in batches if necessary.) 10. Carefully pour in the water. (Caution: the water may spit when added to the hot oil.) 11. Reduce the heat, cover the pan with a lid and continue to cook the dumplings for 5-6 minutes. If gyoza stick the pan, pour little bit sesame oil on the gyoza. Then easy to remove from the pan. 12. For the dipping sauce, mix the soy sauce, sesame oil and rice vinegar together in a bowl. If you like hot, put in little bit chili in the sauce. 13. Serve the gyoza dumplings with the dipping sauce alongside. Dear Ali, I am a married woman who has two quite fine children who are 4 and 8 years old. My husband has a good job and earns good money. I was a housewife who could only cook food, washing dishes, and clean up the house, I kept with the homework. But now I have studied and I am finishing my education. I have got full time work and now I earn good money. When I was a housewife I couldn´t decide over proceed or costs but because I work and earn money, I want to decide over my money the family that I work for. It becomes a conflict between me and my husband he doesn´t accept that I can decide. But if we don`t find any solutions, we will go in different ways maybe. How can we do that? Confused Sara Dear Sara, When I read your letter, I could understand you in many different ways, because you are like a child that recently got a doll and you don`t want to share it with anybody. You had the feelings that you wanted to have some power over the family, but your husband had all time power in the family and it`s not easy for him either to leave the power and share it with somebody, even not his wife. I want to say, don`t try to decide everything the family, like your husband from the beginning. You can decide over small things until your husband learns that to share something with someone is not to lose power, contra wise, you will have a better relationship with more trust. You must have more patience sorry. Good luck! Ali 18 Dear Elham, Dear Bride-to-be, I am a young girl. I am 25 years old. My weight is 85 kg. I am very lazy so, most of the time I sit or sleep. I drink fizzy drinks. Now my problem is my wedding party and I must lose weight during a short time. I need to lose 30 kg. First you should not eat a lot. You should avoid snacks between meals because most of them are fattening you have cut down on the amount of food you eat in the evening. You drink plenty of water because it is better for you than fizz drinks. And you should get plenty of exercise. You eat your meal on time. Try not to eat after 8 pm just drink water or juice. Confused Alice Dear Alice, What I hope now for you is that you have your own investments in secure savings. I hope that you have control over everything like that. It is difficult for a home-wife to divorce their men when you have no work experience. When a woman goes to the bank 80% of the women will ask - Can I afford to get divorced? 20% of them can afford to divorce. So it should not be, I think! Do this, that I advise all women who are in your position! 1. Take control of your finances 2. Take a pause from the other man (if he loves you as he says he is there when you are mature) 3. Start Networking so you are not dependent on others, where you work eight hours for five days a week where you are at the bottom and make someone else rich. You should not have to work for money. It was the teddy bear. It was the American president, Theodore Roosevelt, who came up with the name Teddy bear. Theodore Roosevelt was out hunting when a little bear came in his way, but the president didn’t want to kill the little cub. It was written a lot about it in the newspapers. A newspaper agent made two bears of velvet, wood wool and two buttons as eyes. He put it in his shop window and the president started to call them teddy bears. When the president began to use a teddy bear as his mascot he was called Teddy. There are many collectors of teddy bears, and fine items cost a lot of money. In Germany the first teddy bears were made in 1903. In 1912 the first teddy bears were produced in England. By Shukri Hussen 27 A Bedtime Story DO NOT RUN AWAY I have a cat, its name is Phoenix. It´s a three-color-cat, but it´s like a rat. Pheonix isn´t so beautiful, but I like my cat. My Phoenix has a very soft fur. She is most active in the nights. She doesn´t eat everything, she always chooses the food. She likes meat and fish, but she doesn´t like milk, yoghurt and cheese. She even doesn´t like to sit on my lap. Phoenix is a little wild. She loves to hunt, most of the nights. She loves to sleep all day. Now my cat is ten months old and she hears very well and she is normally fast. My spoiled cat learns something new every day. For example, 2 weeks ago, she found out the neighbour’s balcony. There was another cat, which is called Marc. They Picture: Ada (7), visiting mini-student agree to take a long trip to the park into the forest. Until now they were only indoor cats. My Phoenix and Marc went together in the afternoon on an adventure. They went to the park and played with each other. After that they went further and further into the forest. 2 hours later, they understood that they were lost. But they were lucky to meet other cats and asked them, how can we get out of this forest? They didn´t know. But there was an older cat, which was called Tim, he knew the way out. Phoenix and Marc were very happy, when they heard from Tim. Then they went all together to Tim. When it got late, I became worried about Phoenix. I thought, what has happened? It was the first time, she disappeared. When the darkness came, Tim showed them, how they can get out of the forest. Everybody was so happy. Phoenix and Marc have learnt their lesson, not to run away again. It´s dangerous! From now on they only see each other on the balcony and will never run away again. It´s nice to sit on the balcony now, when it’s hot and sunny. By Sevil Yaman 28 29
