Like most Insight Products, the M3X LED Tactical Illuminator was built for U.S. Special
Operations personnel and designed to perform under the most rigorous conditions and
survive the harshest environments. Because of this, the M3X LED is built to go as deep
as 66ft. and still remain waterproof.
The M3X LED utilizes a LED that delivers a peak output
of 150+ lumens and is protected by a Shock Suppression
System which is designed to handle the heavy recoil
demands of today’s tactical loads. Powered by two (2)
3V 123 lithium batteries (included), the M3X LED has a
run time of two (2) hours.
The ambidextrous rocker switch located on the
removable pistol backplate allows the M3X LED to
be activated in either a Momentary On or Constant
On mode. The rocker backplate on the M3X LED is
interchangeable with any backplate designed for
either M3X LED or M6X LED models, providing greater
versatility of application.
Universal Interface (Pistol)
The long gun backplate, interchangeable with all other
M3X LED and M6X LED backplates, utilizes a 3 position
toggle switch for Off, Momentary On and Constant On.
The straight cord touch-pad remote, which is used
on rifles and semi-auto shotguns, allows the user to
activate the Momentary On feature. For pump-action
shotguns an optional curly cord remote is available.
Insight offers three options for mounting the M3X LED.
The patented Slide-Lock ® system allows for instant
tool-free mounting and removal.
The Universal Slide-Lock mount fits most pistols and
comes with two latchbars to insure proper fit, while the
1913 Slide-Lock mount is designed specifically for the
MIL-STD-113 Picatinny rail and also comes with two
latchbars.
The Rail-Grabber mount fits most rail configurations
whether for a pistol, rifle or shotgun. The Rail-Grabber
interface can be tightened to insure a rock solid fit
and is particularly recommended for heavy recoiling
firearms.

The Tan A23 Spec Ops model features a push button
backplate with straight cord remote and comes with
original military manual.
