Classes 11-27 are qualifiers for the National Welsh Championship Show to be held on 7th August 2016
Classes 40,41 42 & 58 are qualifiers for Equifest taking place at the East of England Showground
in August 2017

All competitors will be admitted free on the basis of one person per horse
with one stock attendant per vehicle
Wrist bands will be issued on this basis
which will give you admittance to the mainshowground
All other occupants of the vehicle will be charged
All horse vehicles must park as directed by the T.A.S. stewards
N.B. No cars are permitted to park in the Horse & Pony Vehicle parking area
Horses and handlers only will be permitted through the gate to the showground horse walkway
All pedestrians must enter the showground at the main gate.
No dogs other than guide or participating dogs will be allowed on the showground
Please read the Rules & Conditions on the back page which will be strictly adhered to.
All Cup & 1st Prize winners must participate in the Grand Parade at 2.30pm approx.,
and any 2nd or 3rd prize winners who would also like to parade will be most welcome
All Trophies will be presented outside the Horse & Pony Secretary’s tent after the parade.

RULES AND CONDITIONS APPLICABLE TO THE HORSE & PONY SECTION

All Competitors and Exhibitors must agree to abide by the Rules set down
1.
All Horses and Ponies must be named on the entry form and the details of owner and rider completed in full.
2.
The Committee reserves the right to alter rotation of events, but the order of programme will be adhered to if possible.
3.
No person will be allowed in the ring except the Judges, Officials, Stewards and Competitors.
4.
Competitors must follow instructions displayed on the Showground and in the Ring and those given by Stewards or over the loud
speakers.
5.
Wrist bands will be issued for entry to the showground, competitors will be admitted free on the basis of one person per horse
with one Stock Attendant per vehicle, all other occupants of the vehicle will be charged. All persons must have a wrist band
which will be issued by TAS stewards in the horse park, otherwise they will be charged an entrance fee.
6.
NO PEDESTRIANS will be allowed on the horse walkway, only horses and handlers
7.
No refunds for entry charges will be given in the Secretary’s Tent.
8.
No refunds for withdrawals after the closing date
9.
All competitors entering events with age qualifications, as date of show must produce birth certificate if required.
10. Competitors entering the lead rein classes in any separate section may not enter any classes off the lead in that section on that
pony.
11. Prize money will only be paid out on the day of the Show and may be collected from the Horse & Pony Secretary’s tent between
3pm & 5pm.
12. All Cup & 1st Prize Winners must participate in the Grand Parade at 2.30.pm approx., and any 2nd or 3rd prize winners who
would also like to parade will be most welcome. All Trophies will be presented outside the Horse & Pony Secretary’s tent after
the parade at approximately 3pm.
13. No prize money will be paid after the show day, unless by arrangement with the secretary.
14. The decision of the Committee or anyone appointed by them, in all cases of dispute and on all questions as to the conduct of the
Show shall be absolutely final.
15. Exhibitors shall be responsible for the correctness of their entries which must be lodged with the Secretary on or before the dates
fixed & published. Entries should be made on forms provided, all horses & ponies must be named and details of owner or rider
filled in. No entry will be accepted unless accompanied by the appropriate fee. Cheques should be made payable to the Tenbury
Agricultural Society Limited, or T.A.S. Ltd. No telephone entries will be accepted.
16. Any complaints regarding the show to be put in writing to the Secretary.
17. Any objection or protest must be handed into the Secretary’s tent in writing within half an hour of the finish of the class, together
with a deposit of £25, this will be forfeited if the objection is not sustained.
18. All cups to be returned to Nick Champion, 16 Teme Street, Tenbury Wells, WR15 8BA on or before Friday 3rd June 2017
19. It is the Competitors responsibility to present themselves in the ring for judging on time.
20. If classes clash due to entry numbers, competitors must decide which class to participate in, and notify the stewards
accordingly.
21. All 1st and 2nd Prize Winners in the relevant classes to go forward to the Championship.
