FRIDAY, AUGUST 7 7 p.m. – Freedom Hall The following events are FREE with paid admission to the Street Rod Nationals Plus John Anderson Country Music Legend John Anderson brings his hits from the 1980s and 1990s to the stage in Freedom Hall. He’ll perform his CMA award winning smash single “Swingin”, a song that has been recorded by Leann Rimes and nominated for a Grammy a second time. Other hits include “Straight Tequila Night” and “I’m Just an Old Chunk of Coal”, along with the No. 1 “Money in the Bank”. Caribou Since exploding on to the Louisville music scene in the 70’s, Caribou has continually wowed audiences. In their thirty five year history Caribou has appeared at just about every major club, festival and music venue in Louisville. Beginning with straight-ahead rock and roll in the seventies and eighties, adding a bit more pop and dance tunes in the late eighties and nineties, and culminating in the fullblown, brass - accompanied dance band they are today, you’ll enjoy every minute of this performance.
