Whether you come for a family adventure or some solitude, the park offers many amenities for your visit. Cross-Country Ski Trails. Pinery has five ski trails that vary in difficulty, length and the type of habitat they feature. When conditions allow, four of the trails are track-set for classic cross-country skiing, the fifth trail is groomed for skate-skiing. Please refer to the maps below for more information about ski trails. Keep off ice Welcome. A camping or day-trip to Pinery in Pets. Dogs are permitted in the park but must be kept on a leash at all times. Pets should not be left un-attended as the cold and unfamiliar settings may cause distress. Dogs are only permitted on the skate ski trail. Please do not walk dogs on any other ski trails as their footprints quickly destroy the tracks set on classical ski trails.
