Talked about golf outings 3rd district 6-1 Juneau County 6-22 at Castle Rock golf course. 3rd district Pool tournament in Lacrosse April 23rd to the 26th. Any prize donation would be greatly appreciated. Drop off at Opera House or Heinie’s. ATV Poker run, funds to go to Juneau County Saferide Program. Talked about the Smoke Free Coalition . Gary and Brian attended one of their meetings. We discussed the By-Laws and said if any changes, there would have to be a letter sent out to all members and the voted on at the next meeting. GENERAL MEETING: Meeting called to order by Jack Hall Attendance: 34 members. Introductions done. New Members: Sandy and Dale /Swiney’s opening soon Necedah Secretary’s report-Everyone acknowledged receipt of the minutes from the last meeting in newsletter. Motion to approve minutes was made by Tuna and seconded by Flo. Treasurer’s report : motion made by Gerry and seconded by Laurie to approve the treasurer’s report. Speakers: No speaker. Unfinished Business: Just a reminder to get your Saferide to Nancy Ennis and your donation sheets to Joyce Remember on the Saferide make sure the Good Samaritan that drive someone home is sober. Christmas Party Raffle did great. Thanks Gary again for all your hard work. Tuna made the motion and Laurie 2nd it to have the ATV proceeds go to the Juneau County Saferide Program Sandy gave a update on the ATV run: The posters and raffle tickets are done and ready to post and tickets ready to sell. It runs from May 1st thru the 9th with the final party at the Reel Inn Necedah. The stops will be Bernies, The Body shop. Knut’s ,Last Shot, Shipwreck, Boon Docks, Patti’s, Eagle’s Nest, Red’s, Vet’ Hall, and Wilderness. Stamp sheets are $10. Directors make sure you get your poster and rule sheets out to your bars. Most places have maps from Shipwreck north. By-Laws were voted on and accepted. Thanks again donna for all your hard work. Mauston Cab Service is available in some areas during their hours, however, the TLW “Good Samaritan” program is available to all members of the TLW anytime. If you can provide a driver (100%sober, with a valid driver’s license and covered by insurance) JCTL will reimburse your driver for taking a patron home. This is only good for rides home (not to another establishment). Pick up vouchers at the meetings or contact the JCTL SafeRide Coordinator if you need more details.
