Here is how we know. It is simple; take a dedicated staff, fantas.c students and a suppor.ve community and you can create a great school. Great includes athle.cs, clubs, teams, strong academics and many daily experiences that make life complete and more meaningful. While wri.ng this note I reflect on our Remembrance Day assembly where our students led a very moving reading of the list of our students who made the supreme sacrifice. School is so much more than daily lessons. We believe OSCVI is a great place to spend the day. If you have any ques.ons about your small, east side public school, please feel free to contact us at any .me. Mahew Picke, Principal Shannon Logie, Vice-Principal Mark Your Calendar! We kicked off the year with a dodgeball tournament that gave all students the opportunity to have fun and make new friends at lunch! Throughout the first months of school lunch.me and spirit ac.vi.es have also been happening during lunch hour. Friday Night Lights was a major success and really drummed up school spirit, despite the fact that our football team wasn't successful. Recently we have ordered customized OSCVI FALCONS sunglasses, which are available for $4 and we have launched our Fall Clothing order. These opportuni.es will give everyone the chance to get decked out in OSCVI apparel at a great price! Students were very excited to ride our Santa Claus parade float and represent their school in the community. Later on in the month we will also be launching our first GOTCHA game of the year! We are striving to bring the feeling of community to our school and build an all-inclusive OSCVI that students are excited to come to every day.
