Manufacturing

polymethylmetacrilate, atomised quartz and granite

The brand-new and stylish series KINGA and
AMANDA, in the most requested colour finishings,
are manufactured with an innovative self-cleaning
and antibacterial composite material, able to
interact with the kitchen environment by reducing
air pollution. The active reagent natural “ARIAPURA”
consisting of photocatalytic titanium dioxide (TiO2)
nanometer-sized, performs a triple action:

ANTI-POLLUTING ACTION
The active “ARIAPURA” component destroys bad smells and pollutants substances often found in the kitchens, caused by
heating, air conditioning, cooking processes (generating smokes and vapours), cigarettes, particulate matter, etc..
Basically, the active “ARIAPURA” component, which is integrated in the whole sink’s mass, exercises the same air purifying
action of a tree placed in the kicthen.
ANTIBACTERIAL ACTION
Elimination of Germs and bacteria determines a significant bad smells reduction, both on sink and in the air, making a fresh and healthy kitchen ambiance.
SELF-CLEANING ACTION

It is a very innovative technology, providing a constant and unlimited protection against dirt, which could often cause stains and
bad smells. Thanks to the active function of CLEAN+® protection, incorporated inside the sink structure during the manufacturing
process, hygiene and freshness last longer. CLEAN+® protection is colourless and odourless; it does not reduce its action with
time or use. TELMA sinks with CLEAN+® protection are cleaner and fresher between uses.
The LOTUS effect
After several researches and tests, our laboratories have
succeded in reproducing the way “Lotus” leaves react towards
dirt. The Lotus flower is considered a symbol of pureness in the
Asiatic religions, probably because although it is often immersed
in muddy waters, it is pollution and dirt proof. Because of this
reason, this flower has been studied in order to reproduce on
our sinks surfaces its way to react towards water and dirt.
The most important result of the Lotus effect in nature is the
protection against organic pathogen contaminations, like spores
and bacteria. These contaminations are regularly removed from
Lotus leaves simply thanks to the rain. Oily substances as well
are easily removed from leaves thanks to the mechanical
action of the rain.

With KINGA series TELMA rethinks the concept of a kitchen sink.
The basins disappear under two sliding chopping boards made
of tempered crystal. With the chopping-boards closed a new

ARIAPURA TECHNOLOGY

the new Polytek mixers are a novelty and

advantage of a Poly-tech mixer is that it's

PANDORA DRAWER
Pandora is a cooling drawer that allows you to store five bottles of wine (two of which can be champagne bottles), and matches
perfectly the design of your kitchen. The overall dimensions are, in fact, those of a standard drawer of a normal kitchen. The
front panel can be made of glass or stainless steel, on which you can install any type of panel, in line with the kitchen style,
whether classic or modern.
The design is simple and professional, the materials used are stainless steel 304 for the interior, wood and aluminum. The
compartment is lit by led lights and the simple and intuitive control panel allows to set different temperature levels.
The guides of the drawer are provided with soft-call for the closure, in order to reduce sudden movements of the bottles.
The product is designed to allow installation in a column of two pieces, for example, one to contain red wines and the other to
contain white wines or sparkling.

SINK DRILLING RIGHT PROCEDURE
All Telma sinks are supplied with pre-punched holes to fix mixers. In particular, some models have more than one prepunched hole (picture A) so as to choose where to place the tap.
NOTE
In order to avoid breaking the sink, the hole has to be cut just
by means of a 35-37 mm drill bits, following the instructions
shown in the pictures B and C. On demand and with a very
cheap price, Telma can deliver both the complete drilling kit
composed by joint + drill (code KITFRESA) and the diamond
coated drill (code FRESA). These two items are shown in
the accessory page and in the below pictures D and E.

which is built-in in modular kitchens worktops, or they
can be installed undermounted. For undermounting
installation, please order the suitable installation kit
(code GANCIST10).

ATTENTION!
In order to help marble cutters, on demand we can send by email the
geometric scheme in dxf and dwg format to cut the work top. Moreover,
always on demand, we can also send by priority mail the paper cutout.
All the cutouts can be easily downloaded by Telma web site. In all the
supplied schemes the sink edge is flush with the work top ( Solution "A").

Taps with ultra-fast installation from above are equipped with the
new and revolutionary Semplifix ® system.
Semplifix® system makes installation of the tap fast and easy, as
well as its replacement in time.
All steps of the installation, as shown in the images, take place
from above while avoiding the installer to operate in awkward and
difficult positions.

WATER AND ENERGY SAVING MIXERS - AQUASAVE & POWERSAVE
“AQUASAVE” makes you save water.
The first step of the mixing cartridge makes water flow out at
6 liters per minute, widely sufficient for most common uses. By
lifting the lever up to the second step, the water flow increases to
12 liters per minute, with an average pressure of 3 bar.
With Telma "POWERSAVE" system, by opening the lever in the
start position there will be dispensed only cold water, avoiding
waste of gas or electricity.
To get mixed water just turn the lever to the left to the center
position step, which corresponds to the ideal temperature
recommended. This step is also important for its function against
accidental burns. In the case of real need of very hot water, it can
be obtained with a further rotation of the handle to the left.

WHY A DIGITAL TAP?
A digital tap is able to optimize water and energy consumption. These mixers are
provided with an electronic control unit of dimensions 15x10 cm containing the motorized
valve and is placed under the the sink. The central button delivers cold water with a flow
rate of only 2 liters per minute. By using the + or - you can vary the flow and by pressing
the Bluee or red buttons, water can be mixed hotter or colder.

ADVICES FOR A CORRECT INSTALLATION OF THE MIXERS
Telma mixers work properly if the following
• Water system pressure: 1,5-5 bar
• Maximum temperature: 80° C
If the pressure is higher than 5 bars, we suggest to install a pressure reducer. Sand grains or other impurities often present in the water, can damage the mixer
cartridge, or the rubber seals and provoke leaks. Installing a couple of filter taps in the flexible hoses of hot and cold water preserves the mixers from these
problems.

CARBON FILTERS
When the hood is installed in the filter version, depending
on the chosen model, a rectangular filter (Code FICARRET),
or two round filters (Code FICARRNT) must be inserted. The
filters are constituted by active carbons which have the
task of purifying the air by filtering the fumes and vapors
and retaining the microparticles of fat.
The filters should be regularly replaced and the saturation
of the active carbon depends on several factors such as
type of cooking, frequency of use of the appliance and
frequency of cleaning of aluminum grease filters. The hoods
are supplied in the “aspiring” version. To turn in the “Filtering”
version, carbon filters must be requested, indicating the
corresponding code for each model of hood.
