TEDDY BEARS PICNIC
Hold a teddy bears picnic at your meeting place. Ask each of the girls to bring their
favourite teddy. Ask the girls to introduce their teddies. For Rainbows you could read
Goldilocks and the Three Bears and let the girls act out the parts with their bears.
Organise some yummy teddy snacks! Here are some ideas:
TEDDY BEAR SANDWICHES- make some teddy bear shaped sandwiches! You will
need a teddy bear shape cutter (try ebay!)
TEDDY BEAR CAKES - let the girls decorate some plain fairy cakes to look like
teddy bears heads. You could use raisins for the eyes, chocolate buttons for
the ears and smarties for the mouth.
Other teddy treats: Pom Bar Crisps, animal biscuits and gummy bears. Bears in the
wild eat lots of fish, nuts, berries and fruit!
MAKE A DEN!
Many bears dig dens for hibernation during the winter. They often hibernate for 3 - 5
months. Make a den for your bear!
MAKE AN OUTFIT FOR YOUR TEDDY
Have a go at making some new clothes for your teddy using old scraps of material.
Alternatively, if you have a Bear Factory near you, enquire about having a build - a bear party! More information: www.buildabear.co.uk
PIPE CLEANER TEDDIES
Make a teddy pin badge using craft pipe cleaners!
