Most GRS laminated rifle stocks are
manufactured as a «drop in inlet». With
few exceptions it is a matter of undoing
the action screws and move the action
to our stocks. The recommended torque
on the screws is 26-31 inch/pounds on the
GRS laminated stocks, 44 inch/pounds
on the BERSERK Synthetic stocks, and
48-53 inch/pounds on the BOLTHORN
aluminium chassis stocks. If in doubt,
please contact your GRS dealer for
assistance.

GLASS BEDDING
Despite of the “drop in inlet” fitting,
GRS recommends to glass bed all our
laminated stocks for maximum accuracy.
If you are shooting a magnum caliber
glass bedding is always (!) required so the
action does not have any play during recoil.
For some inlets like Schultz & Larsen,
Rössler Titan 6, Blaser R8 Professional
and R93 Professional/Offroad glass
bedding is always (!) required as well.
Normal support and inquiries should be addressed to your local
GRS dealers and distributors first. In case they do not have the
answers you need please feel free to contact us directly.
MAINTENANCE
GRS laminated rifle stocks are treated
with an oiled finish*. It is important
to maintain this finish 2-3 times a year
(frequency needed depends on the use)
to prevent moisture to enter the laminate.
All oiled wooden and laminate stocks
need maintenance. Please ask your
local gunsmith or stock maker on how to
refurbish the stocks.
If you are in doubt about this process, please
ask your GRS dealer for assistance.

button solution, ready to be installed on your existing
GRS Rifle Stock or to come with your new GRS
stock. The option is made in hard anodized
aluminium with stainless steel springs and screws.
The full adjustment is 1.73” from top to bottom and
can be set in .15” steps from zero to - .63” to + 1.1”.
1” LIMBSAVER RECOIL PAD
Optional you can order your GRS Rifle Stock to come
with 1” Limbsaver/GRS recoil pad (except for the
GRS Safari as it is a standard with this rifle stock)
with a little extra charge.
GRS MAINTENANCE OIL
GRS Rifle Stocks in laminated wood are treated with
an oiled finish. It is important to maintain this finish to
prevent moisture to enter the laminate. Moisture over
time can result in cracking of the laminate wood.

The GRS Sporter Varmint rifle stock is
tailor made for competition shooting. A full
and lowered fore end gives a good grip
and helps improve the standing shooting
position. The grip has a 6 degree angle
to the side to aid the shooter to an
ergonomically correct position.
SPECIFICATIONS
The cheek piece and the recoil pad can be easily adjusted with
pushbuttons - the GRS SpeedLock system. This unique system
allows you to quickly adjust the length and height of the stock
between shooting positions; no tools needed! At the lowest
cheek piece position any bolt can be pulled from any system.
Both the cheek piece and recoil pad can be fully removed.

as a direct answer to our customers
who wanted a shorter LOP and
slimmer grip than its big brother,
the GRS Adjustable Hunting.

This stock is made with the same quality components as the GRS Sporter
Varmint and has the same GRS SpeedLock adjustments system. It is also
made in the 6 GRS colors.

Taking the features from the
GRS Sporter Varmint stock, we created
a solution for the hunter wanting an adjustable
rifle stock with more classic lines. The fore end is broader
than a standard stock, and gives you very good control of the rifle
when aiming and shooting. The grip has a 6 degree angle to the side to aid

A super strong body with rubber surfaces on grip and fore end gives you total
control and friction in wet, dirty and cold conditions. The Berserk comes with
bedding blocks installed. We recommend using 44 inch/pounds of torque on
the action screws. You wanted the best stock out there, here it is!

High recoiling rifles from 375H&H and up need a strong and functional platform. This stock is
designed for shooting with open sight or a low mounted rifle scope - and specifically with dangerous
game hunting in mind.It is the only GRS stock with a fixed length of pull.
The design has made it popular with the customers who want a classic
looking stock with just an adjustable cheek piece. GRS Safari is also
available in standard inlets so you can use it with standard calibers for
your normal hunting.
The stock is made from laminate and is fitted with a 1” Limbsaver recoil pad
which dampens the recoil very efficiently. Flush cup sling mounts and quick
detachable 3/4” sling loop are delivered with the stock as standard.

The GRS Hybrid is a specially developed for long range applications. We like to use this stock in our .338 Lapua rifles out to 1500 meters
and more. The rear stock has a surface specially made for shooting with a rear bag, this is the absolute best way to shoot accurate on
extended ranges. The fore end has a flat bottom for supporting against bags or rests. The longer fore end provides a better mounting
position for bipods and aids in balancing long and heavy barrels.
The rear stock and fore end has one quick detachable sling mount with 1”
sling loop. The fore end includes one sling mount for using a Harris style
bipods. Height adjustable recoil pad option is installed. The stock is predrilled
for the VersaPod spigot (installation required).

The GRS Kelbly X eater stock is developed along with the famous Kelbly’s Inc in the USA. The Kelbly brand
is synonymous with precision and they hold numerous world records in F Class shooting. GRS Kelbly X eater is
selected standard inlets and of course the Atlas and Panda actions from Kelbly’s Inc.
Because there is a lot of custom actions out there it is hard for us to offer all
the inlets, therefore we will also deliver non inlet stocks, with the action and
barrel channel to be milled out individually.

The GRS Bolthorn is made for long range prone shooting. They are all made in hard anodized aluminium and
composites. This stock is designed so the line of the recoil is as close to the core line of the barrel as possible.
This means excellent recoil handling and greater accuracy.
The stock comes fully equipped from GRS with all
rails, sling mount and GRS SpeedLock adjustments
installed. Our famous adjustability on length of pull,
cheek piece and height of the recoil pad are all
done with a touch of a button.
The stock can be converted to be a folding stock with the added extra feature – the GRS Hinge.
This installation is done in 10 minutes. Please check your local laws before doing this to verify if
you can own a folding stock and if the length of the rifle is over minimum requirements.
Depending on the calibre either a 5 or 10 round
magazine comes with the stock. (magazine well
is AICS standard).
In most cases it is a matter of dropping the action into
the stock and torque up the action screws - and then
head off to the shooting range... (Howa needs a slight
change on the action to fit the AI magazines).
