Integrates with MRT JOHAN SETIA enquiries@mrcbgk.com Integrates with Bus Rapid Transit What is LRT3 The Alignment Light Rail Transit 3 (LRT3) is the third LRT system in the Greater Kuala Lumpur/Klang Valley (GKL/KV) region and will serve an estimated population of two million in the Western Corridor by 2020. The LRT3 is estimated to benefit 500,000 commuters along the alignment. LRT3 is a project developed in line with the Urban Rail Development Plan (URDP) of the GKL/KV Land Public Transport Master Plan under the Land Public Transport Commission (SPAD). LRT3 is part of a reliable, efficient, integrated and sustainable land public transport system targeted at enhancing socio-economic development and quality of life. LRT3 is a double track rail alignment of approximately 37 km operating between Bandar Utama to Johan Setia. LRT3 alignment will have 26 stations including 5 stations that integrate with existing and future public transport systems. Total transit time of approximately 58 minutes. The line will cover the areas of Bandar Utama, Shah Alam and Klang before terminating at Johan Setia. Prasarana Malaysia Berhad is the project owner that formulated the brief of the project and will assume operations of the project upon completion.
