New students are required to attend the New Student Orientation Kick-off before the quarter begins. The three-hour event is for students to make connections, learn about resources, meet faculty, take a tour of the program areas, and attend an optional Computer Boot Camp. Choose the orientation that fits your program on either Friday, Sept. 16, or Monday, Sept. 19. Guided by an industry professional, students will learn the basics of wire feed set-up, operation, technique, and TIG welding applications, including the most current technology in pulse and pulse-on-pulse equipment used in the aluminum fabricating industry.
