CRONOLOGY. THE BEGINNING OF THE PROJECT.
• Year 1995. The Local Administration of the city starts the Valencian
Strategic Plan.
• The City of Arts and Sciences project was presented to the city in 1996.

• Year 1998. The Hemisferic is inaugurated.

Year 2000. The Science Museum Príncipe Felipe and the
Umbracle (Promenade and Car Park) are opened to the public.

Year 2003. The Oceanografic (Aquarium) is inaugurated,
opening to the public on February 15th.
