Longaberger
F
or many, Longaberger is a family tradition. Jeannie Mark van from
Mason, Ohio brings a Medium Market Basket to all of her son’s
baseball games. She fills the basket with books and games for her
younger daughter who lovingly refers to it as her mom’s “basket of
magic.” Debbie Rivera of Houston, Delaware has a family of seven who
use Longaberger baskets to line
their staircase as mailboxes for each
family member. Rock Hall, Mar yland
resident, Rita Kulley’s granddaughter
always visits her with a basket filled
with her favorite doll and all of its
outfits. The basket is made complete
with a blanket on the bottom to use
as the doll’s bed when it’s time for
her to go to sleep.
