oushatta Casino Resort, located in the deep piney woods
of Southwest Louisiana near the small town of Kinder,
is one of the largest landbased casinos in Louisiana. Non-stop
gaming excitement rolls on 24 hours a day on a huge
gaming floor (over 100,000 sq. ft.) with 2,800 of the newest
and most popular slots, over 70 table games, and a friendly
staff who specialize in personalized guest service.

Casino Resort became the largest entertainment and resort
complex in the state of Louisiana with over 70,000 sq. ft. of
gaming area, three separate food venues, a child care facility
and a teen arcade. A staff of 1,600 significantly reduced high
unemployment rates in Allen and surrounding parishes.
In 1999, multiple expansions were added to the resort
facility, including Red Shoes RV Park, the 208-room
Coushatta Grand Hotel adjoining the casino, an additional
27,000 sq. ft. of gaming area plus two new restaurants.
Red Shoes RV Park now features over 107 concrete full
hook-up pads (105 pull-throughs) for RV campers. For those
without their own recreational vehicle, the resort includes 100
fully-furnished chalets. Available in one or two bedroom
models, each chalet contains a bathroom, living room,
kitchen/dining area with a refrigerator and range, an outdoor
deck with a picnic table and grill. It’s the perfect family
getaway.
Red Shoes RV Park offers many amenities available for
guests to enjoy such as a swimming pool complex; two
children’s playgrounds; tennis, basketball, volleyball and
shuffleboard courts and horseshoe pits, conveniently located
in the resort area.
A two-acre lake sits on the park’s 40 beautifully landscaped
areas. A favorite relaxation spot of RV park guests is under
the gazebo near the lake. A lodge with a big screen color
television and a game room also are available for guests. Also
in the lodge, guests can enjoy fresh coffee or browse through
the convenience store for souvenirs.
Coushatta Grand Hotel is connected to the gaming floor
and has 208 beautiful spacious rooms with 68 luxuriously
appointed suites, handicapped accessible rooms available, four
meeting rooms, and an indoor pool/pool spa.
Big Sky Steakhouse offers a more relaxed atmosphere with
casual dining for those who prefer freshly cut steaks grilled to
perfection. The 200-seat restaurant offers a variety of menus such
as ribs, seafood, chicken and barbeque from wood smokers.
Seven Clans Buffet features live cooking stations and a
wide variety of cuisines from American, Chinese, Italian and
Cajun food. A large selection of mouth-watering desserts make
it impossible for guests to turn away without satisfying their
“sweet tooth.”
In addition to great food and great gaming, Coushatta
Casino Resort offers a great variety of regional and national
music acts performing live in Mikko Live Showroom every
weekend. Guests enjoy a nightclub atmosphere, top quality
