Easy solution No need to dig out Thin set method DRY 80 is the perfect roofing system. Installation is so simple that no previous experience is required. DRY80 main advantage is that it is not necessary to clean up debris. That means you can install the new floor tile just over the old floor due to the membrane in between which will prevent any type of cracking in the future. There is hardly a minimum height increase since it does not need a compression layer. First, install the DRY80 membrane with 4mm latex modify thin-set mortar over the old floor; then, in no waiting time, install the new tiles over the DRY80 membrane. Less time, less money Our system not only saves you time because there is no waiting time for the compression layer to set which otherwise would be a minimum of 48 hrs (at the best) to prevent any cracking, but also saves you money on labour costs. 8 Revestech® DRY80 DRY80’s waterproofing membrane is of easy and practical installation Flexible and elastic DRY80 is installed with adhesive cement, like a tile, and no special tools are required. Due to the flexibility and elasticity of the membrane sheet, both angles and corners will appear perfectly finished. More versatile solutions DRY80 does not present any chemical incompatibility with cement or with tar which simplifies all kinds of refurbishment work. It does not require any separation layer of geotextile or mortar to put up with the surface, which would reduce the height. It does not require to remove and / or to prepare the old floor tiles. Our solution allows DRY80 to waterproof all sorts of tiled covers such as terraces, roofs, patios, balconies, staircases, etc. Avoid any kind of problems DRY80 not only prevents all types of mould, mildew, weeds, grass, etc but eliminates all kinds of cracking on the pavement which, in a logical manner, responds to the normal expansion and contraction of the compression layer itself. Due to our system which does not need a compression layer, height increase after renovation should be minimal. 9 DRY80 WATERPROOFING SYSTEMS FOR ROOFING AND TERRACES. Flexible sheet for waterproofing flat roofs with fixed flooring protection. It is formed by a double sheet of thermoplastic polyolefin in coextruction which both sides are coated with non-woven polyester fibres to facilitate the best adherence of the tile adhesive-mortars used during the installation process. No waiting time Faster No need to wait while installing tiled terraces, balconies, verandas etc. The floor is attached with the tile adhesivemortar directly to our DRY80 membrane sheet. No need for a bed of cement mortar, or a separating layer such as a geotextile. As a whole system, to install 90 m2 of diaphanous terrace requires a single union; however, with 1 x 10 m asphalt sheet reels you would need... eight welding joints! Our vertical waterproofing system allows us to eliminate the usual moisture conditions which show up in humid areas, typically baseboards, window sills and other complex and critical spots. 10 Outdoors waterproofing systems DRY80 Installation instructions Is placed directly on the old surface without the need to remove the existing covering. 1. When cleaning the surface, it is advisable to use caustic soda for more effective cleaning. 2. Layout, measurement and cutting the membrane. 1º Between the layers. 3. Apply cement adhesive C2 on the old surface. Properly secure the membrane to the surface, making sure to remove with the trowel all the air pockets that can be generated. 2º Over each joint. 4. Overlap the sheets always starting from the drain upwards. Leave an overlap of at least 10 cm. 5. Apply Seal Plus adhesive between the overlapping layers. (1). 6. Apply more Seal Plus adhesive over each joint. 7. Use DRY80 Cornerin, Cornerout and SuMI 56 in problematic areas. 8.Tile directly onto membrane, using C2 adhesive cement and fit the tiled skirting. 9. Cut the Dry 80 sheet as shown. 3. Place DRY80 sheet above and cut as in the image. Apply mastic MS in the joining of the sheet with the interior of the drain. 4. It is available in four formats. 14 Outdoors waterproofing systems Pitched Roofing Air WATERPROOF BREATHEABLE SYSTEMS. AIR is a waterproof breathable multilayer membrane sheet, is light and resistant made of thermoplastic polyolefines. REVESTECH AIR is highly effective in protection against moisture caused by infiltration and prevents condensation formation under pitched roofs. It is suitable to use under tile or slate in all kinds of sloped roofing, either hot or cold, on supports made of concrete, wood or sandwich panels. Our system saves you time as the membrane sheet is straight over the base with cement-based adhesive. The membrane sheet can be left on view as the finished roofed cover. 1. Clean the existing substrate; it is advisable to use caustic soda for a more effective cleaning. 2. Set out, measure and cut the matting. 3. Apply C2 cement-based adhesive over the existing substrate. 4. Fix and secure properly the geo-membrane sheet to the substrate surface, making sure to eliminate every possible air pocket that may be generated. 5. We recommend the use of a roller compactor when laying large areas. 6. Once the matting is well pressed, use AluDry butyl bands to stick together the membrane sheets. 7. Press properly the butyl bands for perfect sealing. It could be helpful the use of a roller compactor or any other kind of tool. 8. Use the same AluDry butyl bands for angles, corners and the most difficult or problematic spots. 9. It is based on the union of 4 different layers in order to solve the current needs and regulations required by the Technical Building Code either indoors and outdoors, such as sound control, water control, horizontal movements of the base control, steam generated by the base control. Vapour barrier Crack isolation The intermediate watertight sheet prevents underground dampness and moisture to be transferred to the flooring and to the joints, protecting them from efflorescence caused by capillarity, mildew and / or mould. Some water-soluble salts can be transported by rising capillary action through porous materials and be deposited on its surface once the water is evaporated by the effect of the sunlight and/or the air, triggering all kind of efflorescence and humidity. It absorbs any fractures that may occur in the base as well as the horizontal cracks up to 4mm. It can cover every existing crack, absorbing the movements that may occur in the future. Clean the pool receptacle and repair any defects. Make sure that all the membrane is perfectly attached to the surface and there are no air bubbles, no matter how small, in order to avoid future problems or bulges. Allow the adhesive to dry. 4. Once finished the pool perimeter, proceed with the placing of the new tiling directly over the membrane sheet using C2 adhesive cement mortar. ? 2.
