In his opening speach Jens Auken adressed His Royal Highness Prince Consort of Denmark with a special welcome and added: _ On behalf of the Organizing Committee and the Danish Bridge Federation I am very happy and proud to bid you all a very warm welcome. It is the strongest field we have ever seen on Danish soil _so exciting. And the running results shown on the wall proved that Jens was right in his prediction. The final result was that the poker king, Gus Hansen, and Irish Tom Halon managed to win the PRO-AM tournament only 1 point ahead of Jens Krusaa_Boye Brogeland. Jens Krusaa was very optimistic, and bid this 6¤. North lead >E and continued with a diamond.
