In 2013 we will introduce the HEARTLAND USA® Custom Conversion for the Sportster® – the Sport Chop Conversion. We recognize the trend towards this American legend – the
Sportster®, with classic style, agility and power. We also identify with the do-it-yourself chopped look associated with the ever so popular Sportster®. And now the Sport Chop
Kit will be available exclusively from HEARTLAND USA®.
Harley recently introduced their new Breakout Softail®, and we will be offering the Heart-Break Conversion – a custom conversion kit that will transform this stock 240 tire bike.
This will be the ultimate in HEARTLAND USA® Conversions! Customize your Breakout® with the Heart-Break Conversion from HEARTLAND USA®! Watch for it coming this year.

BEFORE YOU GET STARTED
• What model bike do you have? (Softail®, Dyna®, etc.)
• Is your bike an original factory Harley-Davidson® or a Special Construction - an aftermarket?
• What year is your bike?
• What specific model do you have? (Fat Boy®, Night Train®, Wide Glide®, Low Rider®, etc.)
• What modifications, if any, have been done to your bike?
•Visit the HEARTLAND USA® Matrix (pages 12 - 13) to determine what Conversions are available to you.
Get Inspired
• What style of bike do you like? (Wide Tire, Bobber Style, Long Fender, Short Fender, etc.)
• What wheel style do you like? (There are many choices - Solid, Spoke, Billet, etc.)
• What are your riding habits? (Solo trips, Touring, with a Passenger, Storage Requirements, etc.)
Plan your Bike and choose your accessories
• You can do the bike conversion yourself, but you don’t have to!
• Most HEARTLAND USA® systems are designed to be an easy install.
(bolt-on struts, pre-drilled fenders, no drive-train or frame modifications, etc.)
• HEARTLAND USA® provides detailed instructions for all Conversions.
• Choose your strut finish. (Chrome, Black or Grey Struts etc.)
• What options do you want for your bike? (fender length, license plate holder, etc.)
• Choose your light preference.
(small or medium billet tears, LED’s in the strut, brake light in the license plate, lighted license plate, etc.)
• Do you plan to carry a passenger? If yes, you will need additional parts.
(Foot Rests, Second Seat, Ride Rack & Rest, Side Bags, Gear Bag, etc.)
• Wheels – many HEARTLAND USA® Conversions do not require you to change your wheels.
If you want to change your wheels or go wider, choose your wheel design.
• HEARTLAND USA® has alliances with many premium wheel manufacturers to choose from. (pages 58 - 65 )
• HEARTLAND USA® has a One Stop Shop category. (shocks, lowering kits, air ride systems, etc.)

leather seat, steel fender and steel rock guard. Check out HEARTLAND USA®'s accessory options for all Softails® - like
the removable second seat, side bags, custom signal lights, curved foot rest and side-mount license plate holders. With
HEARTLAND USA®'s Softail® Conversion Systems and accessories you will have a full-on custom bike.

DYNA®...
BEFORE! This is the stock DYNA® before the installation of HEARTLAND USA®'s
Custom Conversion System and HEARTLAND USA® Accessories.
DYNAMITE!!
AFTER! HEARTLAND USA® offers two custom Conversion Systems for the DYNA®. First is the 240 Tire Conversion
which includes billet struts, swing arm, steel fender and custom leather seat. The second is the 200 Tire Conversion
which includes billet struts, steel fender and custom leather seat. Check out HEARTLAND USA®'s accessory options for
the DYNA® - like the removable second seat, side bags, custom signal lights, curved foot rests and side-mount license
plate holders. With any of the HEARTLAND USA® Custom Conversions and accessories that fit the DYNA®, you will
have a full-on custom bike.

System also comes with our Custom Swing Arm and a 20mm Belt and 1/4" Offset Kit to accommodate a 240 Rear Tire. Note: Rear portion of frame supports must be removed;

Satin gray, Satin gray back with Chrome frame, Gloss Black back with Chrome frame, and Wrinkle black back with Chrome frame. They are designed to mount onto the passenger
peg location (inside the frame). Each side mount has been designed with our unique Patented folding mechanism. Fold the plate holder in when the bike is parked or trailered,
and fold it back out for the road. Very trick! Our tail light versions come with a seamlessly incorporated bright Cateye LED under a prismatic lens for Run and Stop light functions.

with either red or amber LED's. The lens remains clear until illuminated by the red or amber LED. The mirrors offer the same function and high intensity LED's. All are finished
in Chrome, Gloss Black, Black Wrinkle or Satin Gray. Sold in pairs. Load equalizer may be required to achieve all three functions (run, stop and turn).

Heartland USA® has acquired the exclusive rights to manufacture and distribute the original Hell Bent Exhaust Pipes, completely hand fabricated in the same technique and style
produced by Jesse James of West Coast Choppers. The Hell Bents feature triple stepped pipes from 1 3/4 inch diameter at the head, to a 2 1/4 inch finish, with slash cut tips,
and includes the chrome mounting bracket. These radical pipes are smooth and chrome plated. The Hell Bents are available for Harley-Davidson® models - Softail®, Dyna®,

E-Z DOES IT!
Heartland USA® has designed it's Conversions with the installer in mind,
making installation as easy as possible. We have established a rating system
based on different levels of expertise. Easy installation signified by 1 Wrench,
5 Wrenches requiring more experience.
One Wrench
Heartland USA® has some very easy Conversions for all Softails® 2008 to present,
signified by the letters E-Z. In addition, we produced Conversions for prior years (all
Deuce™ models 2000 - 2007) and other Softails® models (2006 & 2007) - these
are also signified by the letters E-Z. These types of Conversions are true bolt-on's no frame cutting, fenders are pre-drilled, all hardware and instructions are included.
Two Wrenches
The next level of expertise would involve - first some minimal frame cutting and then
bolting on the Heartland USA® parts. This would include older Softails® and Dyna®
models.
Three Wrenches
A belt drive change and then bolting on the Heartland USA® parts.*
Four Wrenches
Minimal frame cutting, swing-arm change, drive-train offset, and then bolting on the
Heartland USA® parts.*
Five Wrenches
This level would include drive-train modification and swing-arm changes, possible
frame cutting and then bolting on the Heartland USA® parts, leading to the greatest
difficulty being internal transmission main-shaft modifications.*
*These changes should be performed by an authorized mechanic and special tools may be required.

When you receive your order, carefully inspect all parts before installation. If you determine a part is defective, contact Heartland USA® for an RMA number. Parts will not be eligible for warranty if they have been installed.
It is your responsibility to ensure the part is shipped carefully back to Heartland USA® for inspection. If there is further damage caused due to improper care, the part will no longer be eligible for return.
