The Vine IvyCrest Montessori Newsletter H July 2015 ello Summer! June was an exciting month for us. Students and their daddies enjoyed a delightful Father’s Day Breakfast at school. Western Day was fun with students dressed up as cowboys & cowgirls with boots, buckles, and hats. We ended the school year with sports and waterplay! We are so excited to begin our Fairytales Summer Camp! There will be fun both on and off campus with waterplay, bounce houses, field trips, sports & games, arts & crafts, and much more. ORKSHOP WAcademic Workshop S Ever wonder how high Jack’s beanstalk really grew? Think you could write a riddle that even the Three Billy Goats Gruff couldn’t solve? Children will be diving into fairytales as they practice their language and math skills this summer. Tue/Fri Tue/Fri 2-3PM (Rooms 4-9) - $225 1-2PM (Rooms 10-11) - $225 Science Workshop Wave your wand, cast a spell, and be amazed as our science wizards create potions, gak, goo and much more in this hands-on science workshop! Mon/Thu Mon/Thu 2-3PM (Rooms 4-9) - $225 1-2PM (Rooms 10-11) - $225 Once Upon A Time Theater Workshop At our Fairytale Ball, our theater students will entertain and amaze us with their stories of mystical lands far, far away! Children will learn about the art of storytelling and memorizing monologues along with costume design and character make-up. Boys and girls will have the chance to practice their public speaking and acting skills at our Fairytale Ball.
