The superheat on this expansion valve has been preset at the factory and should require no further adjustment. The standard case valve is a Sporlan Y992-FF-l/K sweat type. REFRIGERANTLINES On the refrigerated models, the suction line is l/2" OD and the liquid line is l/4*' OD. The liquid and suction lines are connected to service valves on the condensing unit base with flare nuts. All other refrigerant connections are sweat type. On remote model cases, the refrigerant lines are stubbed out under the case at the LEFT FRONT. The flare fittings should be removed so that field installed lines may be welded to the case connections. WARNING: Remote cases are shipped with holding charge on coil. Remove pressure carefully before cutting lines. For remote models, consult the Application Departme lnt for line sizes. See Recommended Piping Prac tices on proper page 14 for proper procedure for installing ref rigerant lines. REFRIGERANT All refrigerated bakery cases are manufactured for HEAT EXCHANGER The refrigerated cases have the suction and liquid together to act as a heat exchanger. This increases efficiency and reduces flood back to the compressor. OPERATION Each self-contained case control. To remove suction/liquid the case. CAUTION: NOTE: the condensing connections disconnect base valves the flare at the left the case front of Before attempting to remove the condensing unit, be sure that all electrical power to the case has been turned off. Also, caution should be used when releasing pressure on the refrigerant system. The refrigerant charge for this case is very critical. If the case should need to be recharged, an accurate charging device must be used. MODEL CBARGE - R-12 B4VCl-59 1 lb. - 9 oz. B4VCl-77 2 lb. - 4 OZ.
